Five Top Tips To Book A Caravan Holiday For Less!

00:00:00

Caravan holidays are a right of passage if you are a child in the UK! Whether you are lucky enough to own your own or simply been on one at a static caravan park, they simply cannot be beat! Years on, I still find myself needing to go on them! Find out how you can book one for a whole lot less here!

Good Morning Lovelies,

I’m sure I’ve probably mentioned it before, however, I don’t think I will ever stop raving about the great British caravan holidays. From the moment I was born we have been going on them. Growing up, I was very lucky to have parents who would weed their own in Clacton.

Over the years there, I met my best friend, made core memories and fell in love with the escape that they bring. I find myself seeking trips back to them more and more now, which recently led me to booking an upcoming trip. All for just £50!

If found at the right time, you can find a week long trip for hardly anything lovelies and I’m going to give you a few tips on how to right here…

Go Out of Season: If you can avoid the busy school holidays or festive seasons, book a trip for less by going out of season. We often pick the start of the year or just after the summer holidays. The price normally falls from the hundreds to around £50 or less.

Use Student, Carer or NHS Discounts: If you fall into one of the categories mentioned make use of those codes. From 10 to 30 percent off, they can make a big difference to the overall cost, without any skimping on the actual experience being made. We always use my mums carers discount when booking now.

Book Travel Early: If you don’t have access to a car, look up and book up to 12 weeks before your travel option. Trains can be booked for less at Trainline, whilst coaches can be even less. One tip I do have for you in regard to Trainline is to use the app instead of the website, as it is often even more affordable.

Go Directly Through The Park: With so many websites and price comparisons options, you could end up actually paying more through them. Always compare with the parks actual website to make sure you aren’t getting conned out of your cash. You will probably find them to be cheaper.

Avoid Add Ons: Think hard about the extras on offer before opting in on them! Will you use or watch the entertainment? Are you going to go swimming? Could you cook on your trip? Whilst we do love the little details, if you are not going to actually use them or if you don’t mind cooking, avoid or do them instead. We opted out of getting the entertainment passes on our upcoming trip, as we know we probably will be too tired from being out all day to go.

By following these tips, you can make a huge amount of difference to the cost of your trip without cutting out any of the fun! I recommend caravan holidays all the time, whether you’ve been on loads or never opted for it at all! When you can go away for hardly anything but still enjoy everything included you just can’t beat it! Get ready to pack up and head off soon lovelies!
