Books Coming To The Big Screen In 2024

Good Morning Lovelies,

As an avid reader, I love to pick up a book before it is made into a film. In some weird way, I love knowing how the story should go. How the film should end. The comparisons between the two. In 2024, there are many books being transported into the world of entertainment. Here are my top five…

The Colour Purple, 26th January: Already a super successful film, a remake has been made to celebrate its legacy. With an all-star cast featuring in it, it’s set to be one of the biggest features of the year.

It Ends With Us, 9th February: Colleen Hoover’s best-selling book will be coming to our screens, just in time for Valentine’s Day. However, it may not be as romantic as you may think. Gather your friends for a trip to the cinema to see how it compares to the novel.

Mickey 17, 29th March: Robert Pattinson leads the way in this page to screen feature. Set in a new world, you will be grabbing a pillow one minute, sitting on the end of your seat the next. Expect plenty of twists and turns along the way, with nothing being as it seems.

Paddington In Peru, 8th November: The lovely bear from Peru is heading back home in his third cinematic adventure. Already announcing a ton of new stars, this film is one the whole family can enjoy next autumn. Get reading now to be well prepared in time.

Wicked: Part One, November 2024: It has defied gravity around the world on stage, now it is coming to the big screen. Split into two parts, with more elements of the book included, there is going to be a whole host of cinema goers singing along with Ariana Grande and co when it lands.

It’s not only the big screen that will be affected with page to screen features lovelies. There will be plenty coming to our TV screens too. Plus, a whole lot more than mentioned above out too. However, these look set to be some of the biggest ones of the year. What book to big screen adaptation are you looking forward to lovelies? Let me know!
