My Monthly Favourites From December 2023!
00:00:00Good Morning Lovelies,
We are officially four days into the new year and already I am missing Christmas! I can’t wait for the next 11 months to go quickly, so we can enjoy it all over again! Okay, maybe not that quickly, but you understand what I mean lovelies aha!
With Christmas in mind, I wanted to share with you all my favourite things from the month of December. There were so many special moments and I was truly torn with the answers to some of these this month. Find out what I ended up picking below:
My Favourite Read - Let It Snow by Beth Moran: I love a cheesy rom-com of a film or a book. I always have and I always will. However, they can’t be so cheesy that it makes me want to be eaten by my sofa. This was the perfect mix of sweet moments with fun too. The book follows a family, precisely the daughter of the family, as she tries to win back her boyfriend, get hired by a new company and make it back in time to celebrate Christmas with her family. All whilst trying not to fall under the spell and charms of her childhood love. There is still plenty of time to cosy up with this one lovelies.
My Favourite TV Show/Film - Christmas Films/Specials: Whilst there are many new features that come out every year, I have to say that it is the classics that win me over. The Holiday, Love Actually, Home Alone, Elf and all the TV specials, such as Gavin and Stacey, make the festive season so special to me. This year was no different.
My Favourite Food Find - Asda Gingerbread Runny Honey: When I say that I am going to Asda and bulk buying this before it goes away for good, I mean it! I can’t get enough of the gorgeous ginger flavour. I am seriously wondering if I can recreate it with a plain runny honey in my home when I have run out of the stuff. It is absolutely delicious!
My Favourite Beauty Item - Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Crush Cheirosa 62 Perfume Mist: Perfume is my biggest passion in life. I will happily spend a lot of money on it, which I know is bad, but I can’t help it. After hearing so much about this scent, I purchased it and have not been able to stop using it since. The huge buzz about it is definitely true lovelies. It is a scent that lasts and lasts.
My Favourite Podcast - Ghost Story: I stumbled upon this on Amazon Music lovelies and quickly binged the whole thing. With only seven episodes to listen to, the show follows one man, who longs to find out who was the ghost that not only haunted his room, but his neighbours too. Along the way, he discovers that the ghost may be related to his wife and her family, after a tragedy happened next door. It is fantastic listening!
My Favourite Experience - Christmas 2023: You know me all so well by now to know that Christmas is my time of year. I come alive as soon as September is over. Heart Christmas comes on. Decorations go up. Celebrations begin. I love Christmas and 2023 brought a calm, cosy and fun filled one, which started when I visited my brother up until, well,l now! I will not let this experience end until the 6th January. Who else is with me?
What were some of your favourite things from the month of December lovelies?
