00:00:00

Good Morning Lovelies,

Finally the weekend is upon us! And whilst the weather hasn’t been so sweet this week, I am about to make your weekend or the start of it so. There is nothing better than coming in from the cold to some warm and fresh from the oven.

These gorgeous honey buns take hardly anytime at all making them perfect for any occasion. Straight after school or work. Fresh for breakfast. A great dessert. Once you start making them you honest won’t stop loving them. It’s time to tuck in…

Ingredients
One Sheet of Ready-Rolled Puff Pastry
Four Tablespoons of Honey
Four Tablespoons of Brown Sugar
50g of Melted Unsalted Butter

Equipment
Baking Tray
Greaseproof Paper
Small Mixing Bowl
Pastry Brush or Knife
A Sharp Knife

Method
Start by preheating your oven to 180 degrees celsius, before greasing and lining your baking tray. Place to one side until needed.

Taking a small mixing bowl, add the honey, brown sugar and melted butter together until the mixture is well combined and smooth.

On a clean surface, roll out your pastry. When ready, use a pastry brush or knife to spread the honey and sugar mixture evenly over it.

When all the mixture has been used, roll the pastry back up into a tight log shape. Taking a sharp knife, cut the pastry into even pieces and place onto the baking tray, leaving some space between them.

Place the buns into the oven and cook for around 10 to 12 minutes or until the pastry is golden and puffed up.

Once ready, remove from the oven and allow them to cool slightly before tucking in.

Your Friday feeling will jump to way over 100 after only one bite! Hope you have a lovely day lovelies!
