Blogmas Day 16: Gift The Ultimate Fudge This Christmas With My Simple Recipe
00:00:00Good Morning Lovelies,
I don’t know what it is about Christmas, yet, it always brings out the fudge eaters! Don’t get me wrong, I love fudge! Especially the Cadbury’s or Quality Street kind! However, the stuff in the shops is pure quality fudge.
Even when you go to the big Christmas markets the stuff is everywhere. It can be costly though! However, it doesn’t need to be, especially if you can make your own to enjoy or to give as a gift.
Using only three simple ingredients, you can make a gift that keeps on giving this year and beyond. Here’s how…
Ingredients
- Three Cups of Chocolate Chips (Any flavour!)
- One Can of Sweetened Condensed Milk
- One Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
Tools
- Baking Tin
- Baking Paper
- Microwaveable Bowl
- Mixing Spoon
- Teaspoon
- Spatula (Optional)
- Chopping Board
- Sharp Knife
Method
Start by lining a 20x20cm square baking tin with baking paper. Make sure to line the sides of the tin too.
In a microwaveable bowl, add the condensed milk and chocolate chips together. Once ready, place into the microwave and heat in 30 second spurts until melted and smooth.
When the mixture is fully mixed, add in the vanilla extract using a teaspoon. Stir everything together until well combined.
Take your baking tin and pour the mixture into. After every last drop has been placed in, take the back of your spoon or use a spatula and smooth the top of it.
Place the tin into your fridge and leave to set for around two hours or until firm.
When ready, take the mixture out of the fridge and carefully remove from the tin. Place onto a chopping board and use a sharp knife to cut into equal squares.
Your fudge is now ready to be eaten or gifted this Christmas!
Do you like fudge? Which flavour is your favourite lovelies? Let me know!
