Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem Review

Good Morning Lovelies,

Since I can remember, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, have ruled our house. Well, one member of my family’s life actually! My brother Gio is obsessed with them! In fact, his son and my nephew is named Leonardo! So, when it was announced that they would be returning in a new epic adventure, you can imagine the buzz!

After a number of cinematic moments, the latest feature, Mutant Mayhem, is completely different. In a very good way! Completed animated, but with Aardman like graphics, the film is truly beautiful to look at. Hooking you in right away as a viewer. Plus, the storyline is equally fun to watch.

Directed by Jeff Rowe, the man behind the fantastic Mitchell’s Vs The Machines, and written by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, there is a strong sense of fandom, friendship and finally knowledgeable scripts about what the TMNT are all about.

Full to the brim with witty one liners, heart felt moments and true nods to the original series and films, you can’t ask for anything for. Even the unknown voices in the film seem like they have been fans from the start and give such enthusiasm that you can’t help falling for their charms.

Ultimately, the film is a fun watch for the whole family. Cementing the TMNT universe back at the top of its game, new fans will be made, whilst old fans will love its charm and wit. An origin and a sequel story told in one. With a brilliant powerhouse team behind it. Snuggle up and watch this with the whole family!

4 Stars
