Sadly, the love has been lost. Love Island is officially over and our 9pm time slots are back open for new or classic shows to fill. However, with so much having been missed whilst we binge watched all the villa action, I thought I would make a selection of some of the best reality shows to watch to help you fill that time. Because we all need a bit of documented reality in our lives! 

Here are five top viewings that will make your day better…

Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, Thursdays, MTV: Okay, so I am going to say something big here and admit that Jersey Shore is my favourite reality show ever! I loved it when it was just Jersey Shore growing up and I love it even more now. I recently rewatched the whole lot and I can’t wait to see what the return of Sammi the Sweetheart is going to bring to it. 

The Kardashians, 8am, Thursdays, Disney Plus UK: One of my biggest guilty pleasures is this show. Every Thursday I find myself gripped by all the going ons from one of the most famous families in the world. Kim, Kourtney and Khloe never fail to keep us entertained and the drama just keeps on coming for them. 

Ed Sheeran: The Sum of It All, Out Now, Disney Plus UK: Only four episodes long, this recent inside look at the last few years of Ed Sheeran’s life, from the man himself, is incredibly interesting. I came away from watching it with a whole new appreciation for him. 

Selling Sunset, Out Now, Netflix: Whilst the idea of the show is meant to be the focus on the homes, it is the drama from the women in it that makes this so worthwhile. From fame, relationships and more, every episode will hook you in, even when you don’t want to be. One episode leads to many. 

The Great British Bake Off, Coming Soon, Channel 4: The end of summer is all about getting ready for the cosy seasons and this show is the best at achieving that. Snuggle up with a cake or a biscuit and embrace the greatest baking show around.
