My Favourite Things In July 2023!

Good Morning Lovelies,

I went into July with a lot of hope and positivity. However, due to family matters it took a little dip quite early on. Yet, I had some magical moments and found a whole new list of favourite things that made my days special. This month, these were a few of my favourite things that made me feel not so bad…

My Favourite Book: No One Saw A Thing by Andrea Mara - I’m not normally a thriller reader, but after reading about this book in my local Sainsbury’s I was interested in seeing what it was all about. From the first few chapters, I was hooked. I mean I couldn't put it down at all. Following a mother who loses one of her children on the train, it is an interesting look at how someone in that situation handles it and the things that occurred before and after.

My Favourite TV Show/Film: The Summer I Turned Pretty (Series Two) - I had watched the first series about ten times, no lies, so I was ready for the next season. Landing on my birthday, I had actually been offered a sneak peek of the whole series before its release. It was everything I could have hoped for and more. I am now longing for the third season to be commissioned and filmed. My summers are made by this show!

My Favourite Food Find: Blackberries - Having become scared of these again, enjoying them whilst on holiday was a true joy. I brought the magic home with me and am so proud of myself that I have continued to enjoy these beauties again. Super sweet and juicy ones are perfect for my breakfast in the morning.

My Favourite Beauty Item: Lady Million Empire - When I go away, I like to come back with a new perfume or scent to remind me of the trip. As it was my birthday, I decided to treat myself and found this beauty for a bargain price of £27 in Boots. Everyone kept saying how lovely it was when I brought it and it left me feeling super special on the big day.

My Favourite Podcast: The Therapy Crouch - Every Tuesday morning, I look forward to hearing what Peter Crouch and Abbey Clancy have been up to each week. The podcasts from Glastonbury were hilarious. If you haven’t had a little listen or watch on YouTube to this podcast then you definitely should lovelies.

My Favourite Experience: Going to Blackpool on my birthday was super special to me! Although the weather wasn’t great, I had an incredible time with my family and felt truly spoilt. My mum, brother and nephew got to have an incredible afternoon tea in the Blackpool Tower Ballroom and I will never forget seeing the smiles on my mum’s face. It is a priceless core memory.

What were some of your favourite things from the month of July lovelies?
