Blogtober Day 24: The Best Places To Book For An Autumn/Winter Staycation 2019
08:30:00Hey Lovelies,
With the weather a whole lot colder, the idea of flying off
somewhere and enjoying the hot weather sounds like a dream. A staycation though
can be just as good though, with endless opportunities to see the beauty of
autumn near to home.
Growing up we never went abroad. It took until I was nearing
my 20s to go to another country with my dad. Whilst it took until I was in my
20s to go with my mum. Yet, we always went away to places around the UK
throughout that have left special memories with me.
From caravan trips to chalets in the country, there are so
many places you can stay and experience the colder months in. Plus, with
updated facilities, they won’t have you being frozen trying to find them.
Below are some of my favourite holiday companies to use in
the UK for the ultimate autumn staycation:
Butlin's: Three areas in the UK have a Butlins site,
including Skegness, which is where I went recently for a little getaway. With
catering available, on-site entertainment throughout the day and endless
activities, including a fairground, you are honestly spoilt for choice. The
tent is super warm too, so you definitely won’t get cold from morning until
night.
Park Dean Caravan Holidays: When I was younger, we used to
have a Caravan on a Park Resorts site. Now they are known as Park Dean Resorts and they
have upped their game when it comes to the facilities they have on offer.
Pools, arcades, restaurants and endless hours of entertainment mean there is no
time to get bored.
Haven Holidays: Based all over the UK, Haven will forever be
the other caravan holidays I used to go on. We would head to places all over
the UK at all times of the year when I was younger. Scotland being a standout
trip. I got to explore the wilderness, have cosy evenings in and even found a
host of new animal friends.
Lastminute.com: When looking for cheap hotels to escape to, I
always check out Lastminute.com. They have a great range and offer brilliant
deals via their website, yet if you ring them up, they offer even cheaper ones.
Both are easy to do; it is just up to you which one you choose.
The Sun Holidays: I’m going to admit I’m not a huge fan of
The Sun newspaper, but if you are looking for a quick break than they are
brilliant. For £9.50, you can go away for a weekend or week around the UK with
the whole family. We have managed to do it before with lots of us and it has
worked out great. You just need to select the right dates together and hope it
works out lovelies.
There are plenty of places online that have great deals for
other staycations lovelies. I just wanted to give you a list of the ones we
have used and have found reliable.
When writing this I asked my friends and family to suggest
some others and Center Parcs also came out on top, so make sure to have a snoop
around their website too. I love a break at home, discovering places I wouldn’t
normally see. I’m desperate to get away at Christmas for a sneaky trip.
Although I think this is just so I can see all the Christmas decorations around
the UK! Who else is with me?
