Blogtober Day 14: Seven Things You Must Do Outside During Autumn
11:10:00Hey Lovelies,
Heading outside during the fall can share with you all a
truly beautiful place. I struggle with the cold due to my anorexia, but it
doesn’t stop me from going outside and seeing the fallen leaves, conkers and
wild animals that are out.
Going outside also allows you to do some amazing activities
and often they fit into what is happening around the year. Right now, I am so
eager to get me to a pumpkin patch to find the ultimate one. With my brother
and nephew due to visit soon, I think this is going to be something we may have
to do, but there are also lots more that I have planned for us to enjoy.
Here are a few ideas of things to do during the autumn
outside that will leave you feeling all warm and fuzzy inside...
Attend a Local Halloween Event: Get your best costume,
prepare for apple bobbing and enjoy a local Halloween event this autumn
lovelies. Museums, local halls and councils and even supermarkets will be
celebrating, so take a look online or in your area to find out what is going
on.
Go Conker Picking: When I was at school, we used to sing
this song about conkers in assembly and it was my favourite tune of them all. I
still pick up conkers when I see them on the ground and love to have them
around the house. Head out and grab a few and I am sure you will be transported
back to your childhood. Just be careful if you decide to have a conker
competition!
Attend a Local Fireworks Display: Remember, remember the 5th
of November! Or any day in which your local area may be hosting their fireworks
display and head to it, there is nothing better than seeing those colourful
sparks fly.
Go Pumpkin Picking: I don’t think there is anything more
perfect during autumn than pumpkin picking. Use the one you find to cook up a
lovely treat or decorate it for the scary season. You can even keep it as it is
and embrace its beauty for all it is.
Head to a Harvest Festival: Recently the village I live in
announced they are hosting a Harvest Festival and lunch. The event will also
see a baking competition and vegetable judgement. I didn’t know we did this
where I live and I am so excited by it. Take a look to see if your local area
is hosting something like this lovelies and see how you can get involved.
Fly a Kite: When I was little I flew a kite with my friend
and her dad during autumn months and still now it makes me feel all warm inside
thinking about it. No matter how old you are, this is one of the best ways to
enjoy your local park.
Make S’mores and Have A Bonfire: If Fireworks night still
seems a little bit too far away, why not host a bonfire night in your garden?
Grab some marshmallows, crackers and chocolate to make your own s’mores too and
have a cosy night stargazing in the comfort of your own home. You can also make
s’mores if you have a log fire, just be careful!
Autumn brings so much joy and activities, it is all about
searching and finding the right one for you lovelies. I hope that this post has
helped or inspired you and let me know if you head to one of these or do one.
I’m going to have to get to a pumpkin patch ASAP aha!
