Get Ready For A Kick About As Cadbury Have The Ultimate Football Fan Competition!

Chocolate is a huge element of our home and so is football. Having grown up with four boys, all of which who supported different teams, there was a lot of merchandise and fan memorabilia around our house, including kits for the teams they both supported and played for.

Still to this day if a match is on the TV and all of them are at home, they will gather and enjoy it with lots of shouting and moaning about players. So, when they hear about this news from Cadbury, I am sure they will be very excited.

To celebrate the Premier League, five-a-side fans and Cadbury have joined together to celebrate players of past and present, who have lit up our screens and pitches with their skills.

In a new survey, Cadbury found that women play five-a-side longer than men each week, by 3 mins, as they come in at 1 hour and 10 minutes, with the appeal for the game being how inclusive it is to all. However, when it comes to naming their favourite players, they all agreed in the same amount of time that the likes of Beckham, Henry, Ronaldo, Gerrard, Schmeichel, Ferdinand and Terry would still be chosen over today’s footballers including Salah, Kane, Aguero and Cech.

All of the research has been carried out, as Cadbury launch a new Ultimate 5-A-Side Tournament competition, which is giving you lovelies the chance to play alongside Thierry Henry, Jamie Redknapp, Jimmy Bullard, Shay Given and Alex Scott! An absolutely amazing opportunity lovelies!

Speaking about the competition and how to make a successful five-a-side team, Thierry Henry, Cadbury ambassador said: “Five-a-side is a great way to bring people together, it’s easy to organise and play. The five-a-side game is all about quick movement, taking fewer touches and good decision-making. It’s also a really good exercise in encouraging people to adopt good positions on the pitch, anyone chasing the ball around will be found out! This is a fantastic competition from Cadbury and I’m looking forward to meeting the winners later in the summer and playing a few games with them!”
