The Blog's Birthday Cake Has Arrived Thanks To The Food Network's Fakery Bakery!

The birthday celebrations are continuing right now lovelies, with a special cake recipe, created by the Food Network, that I think we should all make to mark the amazing celebrations!

To celebrate their new show, Bakers vs. Fakers, which premieres Wednesday 9th August at 9pm on Food Network, the channel found the more and more Brits were buying cakes and claiming them as their own after feeling pressured by TV programmes and baking trends to create their own.

56% of people have even stated that they would look for baking shortcuts to help them when it comes to baking, after being inspired by social media to make their own. However, those days are now behind you with the channel opening The Fakery in London, which will teach you all you need to know about baking the quick and easy way.

 Hosting free workshops, The Fakery will see classes being taught by top bakers including Juliet Sear to help enhance the skills you can use on store brought cakes lovelies. Speaking about The Fakery, critically acclaimed baker, author and star faker, Juliet Sear, says: “I’m so excited to be teaming up with Food Network to help launch The Fakery. Research shows that people want to bake more, but don’t because they are strapped for time. There are lots of smart shortcuts to help create show-stopping bakes and I am going to be giving away a few of these secrets at The Fakery!”
