Blogmas Day 24! Celebrate Christmas With These Classic TV Specials!

Good Afternoon Lovelies,

The Christmas cold has hit me and I am currently battling a sore throat, but I am soldiering on to help my mum get everything ready for the big day.

I wanted today’s final Blogmas post to be a bit of a festive throwback and to look at some of the best Christmas TV episodes there has been. So, snuggle up and grab the remote to enjoy these festive treats…

Gavin and Stacey Christmas Special: Probably the best Christmas special around (if I do say so aha!), this is filled with everything that happens at Christmas, from sing songs to family arguments to discussions on how much food we really do eat at Christmas.

Miranda Christmas Special: Never one to spend a Christmas at home quietly, Miranda kept us laughing for many years with her comedic holiday adventures, with many mishaps occurring alongside it.

Only Fools and Horses Special: Nobody can escape the try magic of Only Fools at Christmas! The classic Christmas treat that sees Del Boy finally become a millionaire has gone down in Christmas TV history.

The Royle Family Special: Jim and Barbara have shown us the magic of Christmas in their home and in a caravan for many years and still the family reflects what many of us do when the big day’s evening draws in.

Wallace and Gromit: If you have never spent a morning of your Christmas holiday watching these two, then you haven’t lived lovelies! Wallace and Gromit are a staple showing in every person’s home during the holidays and if they weren’t on it wouldn’t really be Christmas.

Friends: The Holiday Armadillo episode showed us all that there are many ways to celebrate the festive season, as they showed us how special Christmas is through a young person’s eyes and the traditions we are brought up with.

What is your favourite TV Christmas special lovelies?
