Good Afternoon Lovelies, 

I hope you are all well! I am currently still at university, but I am now finished for the day, before I go to an event. So I thought I would come and blog to you lovelies! Starting with this incredible new feature featuring the amazing career of ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ star Charlize Theron! 

With the film due to be released very shortly lovelies, this feature looks back at the stars career and the dedication in which she puts into all of her characters. 

I will admit that I did not write this lovelies, because I think the writer deserves the credit, but I hope you all enjoy it and find it as fun as I did.

One of the most iconic actresses to have emerged from South Africa, Charlize Theron is renowned for her versatility from serial killers to the fearless Imperator Furiosa. To celebrate the glorious release of MAD MAX: FURY ROAD on Blu-Ray 3D, Blu-Ray, DVD and 4 film anthology from October 5 we’re taking a look at Charlize Theron best roles. 

Monster: Starring in the challenging role playing Alieen Wuernos, Theron earned an Oscar for her portrayal of a Daytona Beach prostitute who became a serial killer. Convicted for alluring men to their death and eventually executed in 2002, the true story follows the painful struggles Alieen has to face. On a journey to attempt to straighten out her life it appears that crime is waiting at every opportunity for this troubled woman. 

Young Adult: A hopeless small time fiction writer, Theron is thirty-seven year old Mavis Gary, with a failed marriage behind her and no new possibilities of love awaiting her. Being hit with writers block the only way is backwards, and she takes it upon herself to re-kindle a romance with her ex-husband who just happens to be happily married with a new-born daughter.  

Snow White and the Huntsmen: Wife of King Magnus, Ravenna is rescued from the Dark Army, but it turns out she is a powerful sorceress who will never be free. Theron is amongst a world of fantasy, and must use the Magic Mirror to capture all the women’s beauty and let her keep hold of her youth. Setting out to avoid immortality she’s after Snow White’s heart, and is not afraid to use her evil ways to get it. 

The Devil’s Advocate: Starring as Mary-Ann, wife to defense attorney Kevin Lomax (Keanu Reeves), it doesn’t take long after moving to the big lights of New York City for Kevin to throw himself into his work and leave Mary-Ann feeling all alone. Unable to shake the feeling that her surroundings are sinister, she quickly finds herself in a state of hallucination and terror, and by the time anyone realizes she may have been justified it’s too late. 

North Country: Inspired by a real-life story, Theron is notably compelling as she plays Josey Aimes; a hairdresser with a dream of being a miner. With there being 29 male miners out of a total of 30, Aimes is determined to use her good-looks and feisty attitude to be one. In a role that looks to empower the community, and remove inequality, she’s faced with the task of trying to get what she wants whilst trying to avoid confrontation. 

Mad Max: Fury Road: Destined for iconic status in cinema, Theron is Furiosa an elite Imperator fleeing across the post-apocalyptic wasteland. Rebelling against a tyrannical ruler in post-apocalyptic Australia, Theron is the powerful woman of action, leading a group of female prisoners and drifter Max through chaos in the hope of finding her homeland.
