SIGMA AND LABYRINTH TO PERFORM AT THE BAFTA TV AWARDS...

12:26:00

Hey Lovelies,

We have a new princess! Whoop whoop! I spent a lot of time yesterday working so I didn’t have much time to come on here and celebrate with you all, but today it is all about celebrating, because we have a new royal! And it is only a week until the BAFTA TV Awards! I CAN’T WAIT!

To mark the celebrations, BAFTA have announced this morning that the artist Sigma, along with Labrinth will be performing at the event, as they provide audiences both at home and attending, with a live performance of ‘Higher’, before moving on and providing entertainment at the after party.

After a highly successful year, this will be the first time in which the two artists will perform the song on TV, before a DJ set is set up for those at the Grosvenor House, later on, where the crowds will see Sigma play hit songs including, ‘Summer’ by Calvin Harris, ‘Lean On’ by Major Lazer & DJ Snake, ‘Changing’ by Sigma and Paloma Faith, ‘Wish You Were Mine’ by Philip George, ‘Go All Night’ by Gorgon City, ‘Nobody To Love’ by Sigma, ‘My Love’ by Route 94, ‘So Freakin’ Tight’ by Tough Love, ‘Hula Hoop’ by Brenmar and ‘Higher’ by Sigma and Labyrinth.

Speaking about the choice of music for the night, Amanda Berry OBE, Chief Executive of BAFTA, said: “I’m absolutely thrilled that Sigma and Labrinth will be performing at next Sunday’s Awards. Their performance of ‘Higher’ will be the perfect soundtrack to celebrate the year in television, and I’m delighted that Sigma will also join us for a special DJ set at the After Party.

And speaking about his upcoming performance, Sigma said: "It's great to have been asked to open the show and then DJ at the Bafta's After Party. We're both really looking forward to it"

The BAFTA TV Awards in association with House of Fraser will be on BBC One on the 10th May lovelies, from 8pm! I will be live-blogging the event lovelies, so tune in on here, the blogs Twitter and the blogs Facebook, to see all the winners! It is going to be great!
