#FILMFRIDAY! THE CTBF ANNOUNCE THE JOHN BRABOURNE AWARDS’ WINNERS‏...

Hello Lovelies, 

We haven't had any award shows in a while and I am looking forward to the mayhem of them again next year! I was a bit worried I wouldn't be able to watch the OSCARs next year because of Uni, but I have been given Monday's off, so role on March aha! 

This morning the CTBF announced the 2014 John Brabourne Award winners, who work in given financing aid to individuals who are looking to build a career after devastating events. There are nine winners overall and each one that wins could get a grant of up to £5,000 to help build their careers in film and TV. 


With more applicants than ever this year lovelies, these were the chosen winners:

  • Adam Biskupski - His feature debut film was shown at Venice film festival and is currently about to take part in the London film festival competition! 
  • Lucy Brydon - After working on many projects, her first script is being developed to take part in the Edinburgh International film festival! 
  • Mahdi Fleifel - His feature film has picked up 34 award and been featured at many film festivals. 
  • Lorna Hartnett - Completed her master's degree before embarking on her dream to work in TV! 
  • Charlotte Hudson - A member of a comedy duo, the star has worked for many BBC productions over the past few years.  
  • Hero Mackenzie - Working on her first screenplay with some expert writers. 
  • Amanda Richardson - After working on many scripts, Richardson is hoping to get her animations up and running. 
  • Rosie Taylor - Currently working on building her career as a film programmer, curator and historian! 
  • Gavin Scott Whitfield - With six film credits to his name Whitfield is working on making his first feature film!
