LEGO FANS LISTEN UP! You could win your very own Lego Oscar! This morning I heard some very exciting news and I wanted to tell you lovelies it because you could actually win an incredible LEGO Star Wars prize! 

Today has marked the announcement that the first ever intergalactic national Oscar inspired awards for LEGO Star Wars fans. Called ‘The Golden Brickies’ Awards, the Lego Facebook page was alight this morning to prepare fans to celebrate the huge film franchise and the up and coming release.

Fans are now being asked to pick which side they are on and build the best LEGO Star Wars inspired image. Whether it is your idea of the set or your own version of the films, humour must be a part of your entry. 

Once it is perfect and hilarious, you can simply upload it to the Golden Brickies page on the Lego Facebook page, Twitter or Instagram and use the hashtag #GoldenBrickies, to get it noticed. Your entry must be up before midnight the 26th September for it to be judged before the award ceremony which is being hosted at the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort Hotel on the 11th October. 

The images and videos will be judged by ‘Star Wars’ actor Warwick Davis, ‘Star Wars’ collector fanatic and writer Jedi James Burns, LEGO ‘Star Wars’ Brand Manager Eloise Kurtis and LEGO ‘Star Wars’ biggest fan Milun Simpson who is just five years old! 

These four judges will be working together to judge the following categories: 

• Best Picture: The best LEGO Star Wars photograph showcasing your collection. 
• Best Mini Movie: The best LEGO Star Wars film blooper or your own version of what the ending for the films should be. 
• Best Set Build: The best image of a LEGO Star Wars inspired set building. 
• Overall LEGO Star Wars Golden Brickies winner for best LEGO content creation. 

And the lucky winners will some of these once in a lifetime prizes, that I am sure they will never ever forget! Including: 

• An invite to the awards ceremony on the 11th October. 
• A meeting with Warwick Davis, who starred in the franchise. 
• A year’s supply of LEGO Star Wars treats and goodies. 
• An annual pass to LEGOLAND Windsor Resort for a family of four. 
• Entry into LEGOLAND to enjoy all of the rides as well as entrance to the LEGO Star Wars Miniland. 
• And of course the most important prize, your very own LEGO C-3PO Award!
