Hello My Lovely's,

All week I have been going on and on about a special mid week event and I can now reveal that I was lucky enough to attend an advance screening of 'The Great Gatsby' at the Odeon Leicester Square!

From the moment I got my ticket in the post I have been wanting to shout from the rooftops that I was attending the event :)







And I would like to take this moment to thank all the people at Warner Bro's Pictures and Think Jam for allowing me to attend the event. I will be eternally grateful for everything you did and I am sorry for all the problems I caused you!


The tickets were beautiful as you can see from the picture below and will be a fixture on my memory wall for a long time!

However back to the main event. Upon entering the building I was handed a pair of 3D glasses and lead to my seat, only to find a copy of Fitzgerald's legendary book and a cool souvenir full of pictures and a press release of the film! This made me so excited as I was able to read over my favourite chapters before the film started.

Then after an announcement and a few amazing trailers the film started. Everyone and I mean everyone was captivated from the first moment! If I could I would literally go back and do that moment all over again as I cannot explain the amount of excitement I felt at that point.

I would definitely suggest watching the film in 3D and that is coming from someone who doesn't normally like 3D films (All because of 'Titanic' in 3D), as the artistic style and the beautiful masterpieces on screen were brilliant in that format!

So I just wanted to share this little piece of news before I review the film because I know some of you were wondering what it was!

Keep your eyes peeled as I will be reviewing the film as soon as possible!
