What I Watched During September 2026
00:00:00As the nights draw in and the days get shorter, I have been fully embracing my love of all things autumn! Including the brilliant TV shows that it brings our way! No longer are we now left searching for something to watch, as our screens are finally catching up with our wants and needs! There really have been some brilliant ones this month!
Good Morning Lovelies,
Over the summer months, I really struggle to find anything to watch, which is why I have been watching shows over and over again for weeks. And while I am okay with this, I am very thankful that our streaming and TV channels are finally catching up. Throughout September, they really delivered the goods.
Snuggling up on a cold evening, I found myself truly relaxing with these wonders. From spooky Halloween greatness to wholesome reality shows, there really was a lot of good stuff going on in September. Here is what left me sitting on the edge of my seat…
Wasteman: My taste in films can be really eclectic and this one was definitely not my usual kind of film. However, I found myself really gripped by it. Showing the darkest parts of prison life, it had an amazing cast of British talent, who all shocked me throughout. Days after watching it, I couldn't stop thinking about what I had watched and was telling everyone to sit down and take a look at it. It is the kind of film that awards will be given for and rightfully so.
The Real Rooneys: I am a really nosy person when it comes to celebrity gossip and I was obsessed with this inside look from Wayne and Coleen Rooney into their family. Coming away from it, I really loved the normal family life that Coleen is trying to build for her kids in a world that throws them into the limelight a lot more than she would like. It is a fun and easy reality show that I hope they continue.
Crew Girl: I needed something to get me to stop binging on Off Campus and this helped! It was really light viewing and oddly, I have found myself a bit more interested in rowing now. I am definitely a Cam fan, as there was just something about Josh that didn't sit right with me. I hope that this gets renewed for a following few series.
Chad Powers (Series Two): There is something so easy about this show when watching. There are no nasty outcomes, it is purely 25 minutes of Glen Powell providing us with some great comedy. It has helped to fill the hole that Off Campus has left in my heart. Although, I will admit I am still binging OC at least once a week and I don’t care if that is bad.
Strictly Come Dancing: Autumn is obviously in session, as the return of one of my favourite shows on Saturday night is back and it is beautiful. With a fantastic line up this year, I really can’t decide who I would like to win. Even those that I don’t really know have stood out to me. Plus, I am loving Josh Widdecombe hosting it!
What did you all watch during September lovelies? Let me know, as I would love to add those I haven’t seen but you think I should to my list!
