When it comes to a party, there are two essentials! A great buffet table and lots of refreshing drinks! And I am not talking about the alcoholic kind, although everything in moderation aha! I am talking about the brilliant juices, pops and squashes that were always available when I was younger. 

Every single time we would host a celebration at our home, my mum would always go out weeks in advance and stock up on the classic cartons that she knew would be a hit with us kids. She would get all the kinds that we wouldn’t normally have and I would always hope that they wouldn’t all be drunk so that I could have them after the party too. 

Thankfully, there was always plenty leftover, especially the juice kind, which meant my lunchbox choices were fantastic for weeks after. However, I wish there had been a brand like Cawston Press around when I was little. Though, I have to admit that it makes enjoying their refreshing waters and juices a whole lot better as an adult. 

With Halloween coming up, their little 200ml cartons are perfect to put out at a party, as they provide a great tasting and refreshing drink for all. Having kindly been given some to try, I was happy to put the Apple & Pear and Cloudy Apple ones to the test. Popping the little straw into each one, I could instantly smell that crisp apple small coming off both of them, which made me a little giddy inside. 

As I was transported back to those early school days, I took a sip of the Apple & Pear kind first. Made up of pressed apple juice, William’s pear puree and water, the drink is completely natural and you can tell. It isn’t too sweet but has that great fruity taste that is like taking a bite out of a piece of each one right off the tree. Easily moorish, I quickly finished the carton, feeling hydrated and happy. Plus, with the added antioxidants, I knew my insides were being treated well too. 

After a successful first carton, I happily moved onto the Cloudy Apple kind, which was made up of 50% pressed apple juice and water. Nothing else, which is a huge win for those looking for fizzy drinks alternatives. Having popped this in the fridge before drinking, I was in love with the cool apple taste I got when I took my first sip. Although these are great for any time of the day, I feel like these would go down a treat at breakfast time in place of the straight apple or orange juices that often are placed on the kitchen table. 

Both drinks will go down well though at a party when little ones are looking for something sweet to help those mini sausage rolls and Party Rings go down. I would have loved getting one of these at an event and if I had found it in a party bag later on, I would have lost my mind. They are just the right size to help quench anyone's thirst and with Halloween parties about to be had, they are perfect to leave out for people to help themselves too. Though, I will admit that if you do this, they will go fast, as they are that good!
