The New Foods & Drinks I Enjoyed In September 2026
00:05:00Trying to improve my life has meant that I have been trying to find new foods to change up some of my meals! From completely new dishes to additions that have really enhanced the normal meals I have, these new food items have made meal planning a whole lot more fun! Discover exactly what food and drink I have been enjoying recently here!
Good Morning Lovelies,
Food is something I both love and hate! When I find something that I really enjoy, I become obsessed with it, which is both from liking it and also down to my health conditions. Yet, these obsessions mean I don’t add or change meals up that often.
Therefore, I have been trying to find new additions or attempting to change at least one meal a month to bring a sense of variety to my meals. Over the past few weeks, I have added the following into my life and they have definitely been a real delight to eat…
Raspberry 0% Actimel Yogurt, £3.75: After being told that I am allergic to milk, I was surprised to find that I am able to tolerate Actimel still. Having been enjoying the plain version since I began drinking them, I was happy to discover the raspberry kind in my local Sainsbury’s. Not as sweet as the strawberry ones, this adds a hint of flavour that works perfectly with my cereal.
Rowse Clear Runny Honey (Jumbo Bottle), £7: Honey is probably one of my favourite foods on earth and Rowse is the best creator of it in my eyes. I adore their Dark Honey but hadn’t really delved into their plain kind. Spotting this jumbo bottle of the stuff in Costco, I picked it up to help save some money, as this size bottle will last me forever. I have been pouring it onto my porridge during the week and it is so good, as it adds just the right amount of sweetness to my meal.
Sainsbury’s Stamford Street Frozen Berries Mix, £3.50: Berries can be really expensive and even though I put them in the fridge they don’t last very long. To try and save money and food waste, I decided to buy this frozen mix to see what it was like. Pushing me to try new kinds of berries, including redcurrants and blackcurrants, I have loved adding these to my breakfast. They are just as good as the fresh stuff and this size bag will last me months.
Tropical Sun Bulgur Wheat, £1.39: Normally, I buy the Sainsbury’s bulgur wheat packs, yet, when I was given the opportunity to try this version I was quick to say yes. A little finer than the Sainsbury’s kind, it is still as tasty. I will definitely be buying it again, as it is also a lot cheaper and you get more in a bag too.
Aldi Kavanagh’s Organic Jumbo Porridge Oats, £2.25: Since we came back from Belfast, I have been enjoying porridge as a dinner again during the week. Whilst we were there, I had chosen the White’s variety, however, this is hard to find where I live. Thankfully, I did a little digging and found that this Aldi kind is made by the same team, meaning I have been enjoying the same porridge again and again. Providing a thick and creamy porridge, this goes wonderfully with the Rowse honey mentioned above.
When writing this out, I realised I am currently going through a sweet tooth phase it would seem! And I am definitely okay with that! You only live once after all, so we should all enjoy the foods we want to after all! What have you all discovered to eat over the last month lovelies? Let me know, as I may just try them myself!
