Beat The Back To School Rush This Weekend By Doing One Of These Activities

00:00:00

Worried about how you are going to handle this week with so much going on? Take today to really get ahead of the game! From deep cleaning your home to making meals for the whole family, there are some simple steps that can make that back to school rush a breeze! Find out what to do this weekend to make it easier here!

Good Morning Lovelies,

Most of us will be spending today enjoying the last of the bank holiday sunshine. However, there will also be many of us who will be stressing about what needs to be done before the new school year begins! Yet, you really don’t have to!

By doing a few simple things, you can head into the unofficial new year without a care in the world. Many of the following take only one day to complete too, meaning you will still have a whole load of time to have fun. You will feel very smug if you do just one of these…

Organise Your Wardrobe: Whether it be new school uniforms or pieces for work, take time this weekend to put away those bikinis and swim shorts to make room in your wardrobe for them. You may also find pieces that will fit perfectly with the look you are going for during autumn and winter that you forgot all about.

Batch Cook & Prep Your Meals: Don’t be left rushing in the morning making lunch for yourself or the family. Prepare a menu and batch cook any meals that you can to help you save time. You will feel very smug knowing that you have that delicious dish awaiting for you when you get home.

Save Your Photos & Memories Securely: Taken loads of pictures on your phone this summer? Make sure to save them to a storage system or online to ensure that they don’t go missing in the rush of the new start. Knowing that you can look at them anytime will make you smile every time you see them instead of being left in tears that they have been lost.

Prepare A Budget For The New Year: Thinking of taking the bus or train to work? Have the kids got a trip coming up at school? Want to start prepping for Christmas early? Start the unofficial new year by coming up with a budget to help you save during the colder months. When you get to January, you will be amazed at how much you have managed to save up..

Deep Clean Your Home: Starting a new school year with a clean home will help you refresh your head too. Put new sheets on your bed. Hoover up those random grains of sand. Scrub your windows. Place new towels in the bathroom. Any little thing that can make a difference to your home will leave you feeling motivated to go into the next few weeks with a better frame of mind.

Whether you are taking this last weekend before the big back to school rush to relax or you do one of the above, I hope that you have a splendid Saturday having lots of fun! I plan to do my food shop and then prep the house for cosy season because the ‘ber months are coming lovelies! And I couldn’t be more excited!
