What I Watched During June 2026

Over the last 30 days, the world of TV and film has presented us with a whole host of fantastic offerings! Most of which being very funny too! However, there was also a sad loss for our TV screens at the end of June too! Find out what that was, plus all the other shows/films I watched during the last month right here!

Good Morning Lovelies,

After a heatwave that turned into a month of thunder storms, our TV screens saved the day, providing us with endless amounts of entertainment! For much of the last 30 days, I spent a lot of time falling for a whole host of new comedies, which made the start of my summer a real joy.

Yet, I was also sad to see one of my favourite shows ending, as I could always rely on it to oddly keep me calm, even when everything on screen was going mad. Below are my top five features from June that you should definitely take a look at lovelies…

The Bear (Series Five), Disney Plus: To say that I am sad to see this show end would be an understatement! Whilst it hasn’t been as good as it once was, I have loved seeing Jeremy Allen White and co make a show that truly captures the wonders of the food industry. No one will ever make a cheese toastie as good as the one produced in this series.

Clarkson’s Farm (Series Five), Prime Video: Whilst I was never a big Top Gear fan, I really enjoy seeing Jeremy Clarkson and his farm hands come together to try and transform Diddly Squat. Showing all sides of the way that farming and farmers are impacted by so much, it is a shocking but funny watch.

Alice And Steve, Disney Plus: After seeing this advertised so much, I used this show to fill the Rivals gap that the start of the month left. Nicola Walker is a genius who leads this show to be as good as it is. The fantastic take on how a family is ripped apart by the actions of those closest to us is both funny and sad throughout.

Every Year After, Prime Video: Based on the best-selling book, this new show wasn't for me. I love a good teen romance but this one didn't hit the spot that I needed it too. After such a fantastic series in Off Campus, I had high hopes that this would replace it, yet, it really didn't draw me in. I found the characters very unlikable and I didn't even bother watching on after episode five, as I couldn't stand the neediness that they were portraying.

Voicemails For Isabelle, Netflix: I didn't think that I would be so emotionally attached to a film but I found myself really thinking about my relationship with my dad upon watching this. It is a really sweet story that captures what it is like to not have one of your people around you brilliantly. I really enjoyed the characters and the actors portraying them.

What did you all watch during June lovelies? Let me know, as I would love to find something new to binge on!
