Today, I am turning 31 and I have to say that I am enjoying my 30s so far! I haven’t done anything big within them yet, but the first year has been kind to me! It has shown me that I am stronger than I thought. I am able to enjoy the little things in life more and more. I am happy to sit back and let things go better. 

30 was a great year but I think that my 31st will be better! Today, at 3:17pm, I will officially be that age and I will be in my favorite country to mark it. I am entering this new age exploring new places, doing new things and making sure my mum is by my side, as I am no longer afraid or embarrassed to call her my best friend, which she definitely is. 

31 may seem like a scary age to some but today, I am happy to have reached it. There was a time six years ago, when I was told that I may not make it and that scared me. I have since made sure that I fight harder. That I make every birthday worthwhile and this year I am really excited by this one. 

I hope that if you are celebrating your birthday today that you are having an exciting one too, as you really deserve to mark the occasion in the best way possible. You deserve to be here and to be happy, healthy and above all else surrounded by lots of birthday cake, because it is your special day after all! 

Have a fantastic day whatever you may be doing and have that slice of cake or pint of Guinness, in honour of me being in Ireland, to celebrate it lovelies! Here is to another year of going around the sun!
