What I Watched During May 2026
00:00:00May was a month filled with goodness when it came to what was on our screens! From the return of some familiar faces to thrilling new features, the binge watching sessions were very much held throughout the last 30 days! Discover what came out on top for me over the past month right here!
Good Morning Lovelies,
When it came to what to watch this year, I was eager for the month of May to arrive, as I knew it was bringing with it a lot of exciting features! To say that I was glued to my screen for a lot of the middle of the month was an understatement.
If nothing else came out this year, I would be happy with what the last 31 days brought with it, as it marked the return of one of my favourite shows in recent years. Plus, a whole load more. Here are the five that drew me in the most in May…
Rivals (Series Two): Since falling head over heels in love with the first season, I am not afraid to admit that I have watched it more than once. Therefore, I was eager to see what the new series would bring with it, as I couldn’t wait to fall under the spell of Rupert, Taggie, Fred Fred and co all over again. With a bit of a wait until the rest of the series is released, the episodes we did get were pure brilliance and I have watched them again and again since they were released with no regrets.
Off Campus: I had heard all about the books that this show was based on but had never read them. Going into this series a bit unaware of what to expect, I was really happy with what I discovered. The friends to lovers plot is a personal favourite of mine and I am excited to see how they develop the rest of the characters' stories.
The Devil Wears Prada 2: We have all been waiting a long time for this sequel and it proved that good things come to those who wait. Stanley Tucci, Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt and Anne Hathaway are a phenomenal team and this high fashion sequel is every ounce of perfection. I may have seen it more than once, I won’t lie to you lovelies, as I loved it so much. Right now, this is topping my films of the year list.
Apex: Me and my mum like to have a film night at least once a month. After a hectic day at Costco and work, we settled in for this at the start of May. What we watched was totally not what we were expecting. Never will I be able to walk in the woods on my own again. Climbing is off the table too!
Eurovision: This is my World Cup, FA Final and Olympic gold medal sport all rolled into one! For me, I don’t find anything about Summer that exciting, apart from the wonders of Eurovision. One night a year, we can pretend that anything is allowed when it comes to this competition and I wish it aired every weekend to give us all the boost that it does. This year’s competition was amazing and I have mourned it since knowing I will have to wait a whole year for another round.
What did you all watch during the month of May lovelies? There was so much goodness on our screens during it that it was hard to keep up with it all, so please do let me know if there is something that you would recommend! I will be sure to take a look!
