Graduating can be a very stressful time! Leaving the safety of university, student accommodation and then the hassle of the main event can be incredibly overwhelming! However, there are many things on the market right now, which can help make the transition from education into work and independent living a lot easier! Find out all about the best graduation gifts available right here!

Good Morning Lovelies,

Just before I graduated from university, I remember having a moment with a friend where I just let out all my worries regarding the future. I didn’t know if I would find a job. I wasn’t sure how I was going to make the change from having been in full time education practically all my life to not being in it anymore. I was stressed about how I would feel in regards to the actual ceremony and what it all meant.

Luckily, she was able to make me see what I needed to do and soon I had a lot of things figured out. However, it wasn’t without the help of making lots of plans and using lots of tools and gadgets to get through it all. There tools have definitely changed over the years though, which is why I wanted to share with you some of the newer ones on the market that could help you with your transition from university to work and more.

Life is about to get a whole lot easier thanks to these gadgets and gizmos lovelies, which also make perfect graduation gifts too…

Plaud NotePro, £169: In a world full of AI, this handy tool will make learning how to work within your first job or continuing studies a whole lot easier. Capturing handy notes from lectures, work meetings and discussions, the built in microphone and AI tools process everything that is said into notes that can then be placed onto your computer alongside photos, presentations and more. Super compact, it beats any notebook and pen when on the go too. As someone with AuDHD, I found this to be a real hero for me when I tested it, as it allowed for me to retain all the notes and discussions I was having with people, meaning I wouldn’t forget them as easily.

SANDISK Crayola USB-C Flash Drive, From £12.99: Who says that we really have to grow up just because we have graduated? This fun USB-C flash drive offers a whole host of storage, starting from 64GB, to help transport all those important documents and files around in a fun way. Plus, it comes with a handy three-month subscription to the Crayola Create & Play App, which brings a real sense of nostalgia with it. Many of you will know that I love anything nostalgic and this definitely made me feel that way when I used it. You can’t beat a good old-fashioned Crayola crayon!

Hoover HG2 Turbo Slim Hydro Robot Vacuum Cleaner, £189.99: When in a house share, it is often easier to separate out the cleaning tasks to each other to make sure all areas are covered. Something that can be less easier to do when you move away from university. Take one hassle out of your life and invest in a robot vacuum. Cleaning up any stray crumbs and dust in no time at all, it will beat any cleaning your old housemates might have done.

Amazon Echo Show, From £64.99: Living on your own after university can be a bit tough. Especially when it comes to their being less household noise around. These handy devices will not only enable you to listen to podcasts and music, but you can also screen films and TV shows via them too. They also allow for recipes to be placed on a bright screen and are handy alarm clocks too. Meaning you will never be late for that first day at work and after again!

Ultion Nuki Smark Lock, £299: This may be a bit expensive, however, it is perfect for graduates moving into their first place alone, as it provides huge amounts of security. Using the Ultion’s 3 Star PLUS security system, which involves built-in wi-fi and matter compatibility, this lock allows for remote access to your doors, meaning you can automatically lock them no matter where you are in the world. As well, this lock means that you will be the only one able to enter, due to the keyless entry system that helps prevent any possible break ins. The cost is truly worth it for that extra level of safety.

I know many of these items can seem a little bit pricey lovelies, especially when you are just graduating and I am not suggesting in anyway that you should buy them all. Yet, if you can make an investment in one of them then I am certain that your life will be just a little bit less stressful after university.

Having tried many of these, I would honestly be lost without a few, especially the Echo Show, as I brought one for my room and kitchen to help make life run a little smoother. Plus, the NotePro, which has made going to appointments a whole lot better. You know what, I love them all aha! Hats in the air to them!
