Looking after ourselves during the summer months is vital! Especially when there is so much up against us! The blazing sun! Hot temperatures! Bugs! Hydration! Years ago, I gave up fizzy drinks and alcohol! I found both caused me to experience terrible bouts of anxiety, which I didn’t get as bad if I didn’t drink them! This led to me having to find other drinks to try and find the same tastes that I once loved! Especially that of a cool refreshing lemonade. 

Often turning to still soft drinks, I haven’t been able to find something that really works, even though I have tried many that have come near to it. Including the newest kind from Nonni. A brand that was built to make a difference!

Upon kindly receiving a few samples to try, me and my mum popped them in the fridge to test on a hot day. Something that didn’t take long to arrive, as we got them only a few days ago, just in time for the warmest days of the year so far. As the temperatures soared to above the 30s, we were quick to open a can to share the lemon flavour. 

Topping up the cup with plenty of ice, the liquid poured easily over them to provide a drink that our mouths couldn’t wait to experience. Taking that first sip on the hot day was pure perfection. It really didn’t take long for it all to be gone. 

And it didn’t take that long either for the electrolytes to hit too. Having been suffering from a lot of heat related fatigue, the drink provided our family with the energy we need to blog, work and complete tasks around the house.
