Happy 64th Birthday To My Amazing Mother!
00:00:00Today marks one of the most special days of the year to me! It is my mum’s 64th birthday! To me, she is everything! She is my best friend, my role model, my carer, my sister and my partner in crime! She is literally every title that you could give her to me! And I am truly so thankful to be her daughter!
Good Morning Lovelies,
64 years ago today, my amazing mum Jane was born! And the world was instantly a better place because of it! As we have grown together, I have become more and more thankful to see her shine, as she has shared her love, care and attention with us all. Something I will be eternally grateful for.
From the loving embraces, heartfelt chats and emotional experiences, we have been through a lot together and still always come out strong from it. To me, my mum is the strength I need to keep going every day. I don’t want to sound overly dramatic, however, I know for a fact that I would not be alive today if it wasn’t for. And not just because she gave birth to me!
I am so blessed to have her by my side throughout everything that we have been through. She has never not lent an ear or a hand to me when I have needed guidance and advice. She has shown me more love than you could ever imagine and even on my darkest days I see the brightness in it because of her.
When my dad passed away, we lost a member of our trio. A core member who we had to rebuild our lives around, as he was no longer around. Yet, I feel him all the time and I know for a fact that he would be so proud of the woman my mum has become. She is someone who will never stand any nonsense and he knew that she could handle anything that comes her way.
She has ran our home, found a new job, become more sociable and made endless amounts of new friends, whilst also looking out for her health and mental mindset. All of which that have made me so proud and happy for her. I have only ever wanted the best for her and I am so grateful that she is finally getting the chance to live her life to the fullest. The only thing that makes her upset is the fact that my dad isn’t here to experience it with her.
Today, we are marking the event in our own special way, which will probably end with me treating her to a takeaway and a little bit of vino! Something i am very happy to provide! Mum if you are reading this, I want you to know that over the course of this last year, you have made me so so proud. You have faced some tough situations and took all of them on, fighting your corner every step of the way. You have laughed, smiled and radiated kindness in a way that has made my heart so happy for you!
I know that dad is here celebrating with us today, as he wouldn’t want you to forget it would have been a special day for him too aha! But in all honesty, you know he would have made it all about you, as it is how it should and always will be! Thank you for being so amazing and I hope you have the most magical day! And yes, I will buy you a tiramisu instead of a cake!
Happy Birthday Mother Lover! Here’s to being 64 and still fucking fabulous!
