Discover The Ultimate Summer Trench This Year With Helly Hansen
00:00:00Summer may not be the time of the year to think about what coat to wear! However, it really should be, as there is nothing like a good summer trench that can lead you into those early days of autumn well! One brand that is on hand to help us find the perfect one is Helly Hansen, whose new range is killing it!
Good Morning Lovelies,
There really is something truly wonderful about wearing a trench coat. Personally, I always feel like I have got everything together in my life when I put one on. I have had some of the most empowering moments wearing my trench in fact.
Plus, they are so versatile that you can’t help but find a way to pop one on all year round. I adore wearing mine in summer into early autumn, as it provides me with the protection I need, from the ever changing British weather, to completing an outfit.
For years, this love affair with a trench coat has made me want to head to Burberry and buy the lot. Yet, my bank balance has other ideas and to be honest I am not upset over it. In fact, I quite like looking at all the high street options, as many of them match up to the quality and style of a designer version.
Including those at Helly Hansen, who make trench coats perfect for every day of the year. Whether it be a fit suitable to climb a mountain or one to go out to dinner wearing, they have a trench for all occasions. Therefore, I wanted to share some of them with you in case you too were on the lookout for a lighter coat to wear during the next few months or seasons. The hardest part will be deciding out of the following which one is the best…
Helly Hansen Avenue Trench, £240: Delivering protection from the wind and rain whilst still being breathable makes this a versatile and perfect coat to wear during the summer. I was kindly sent this one to sample and I can confirm that it is unlike any trench I have worn before. The built in HELLY TECH protection left me feeling dry, comfortable and super stylish as I donned it on recent outings with the family. Plus, with an added detachable hood, it meant every single part of me was covered when those unexpected showers came, which isn’t something a lot of trench coats can claim.
Helly Hansen Jane Trench, £220: Much like the Avenue Trench but on a smaller scale, the Jane trench coat is again adaptable to suit your needs. With a detachable hood and the built in HELLY TECH protection that means that it can handle any rainy day weather, it is a stylish jacket that is also made from only the best eco-friendly fabrics. Fashionable and environmentally friendly, what more could you want!
Helly Hansen Classic Insulated Trench, £180: You can’t beat a classic trench coat, yet, this one goes to new heights. Insulated to provide extra warmth on those chilly outings, this waterproof addition of the classic Helly Hansen trench has all you need to layer up, including a tie belt, two way front zipper for easy access to layers and elastic cuffs to stop the wind drifting up your arms. It is like a duvet version of a trench coat, which sounds like a real dream to me.
Helly Hansen Wesley II Trench Coat, £180: Sometimes less is more and this simple trench proves it. Known for being one of the brand’s best sellers, it is stylish and smart, whilst also providing all the coverage you need in a coat. Plus, it comes in a number of different colours, meaning you can mix and match it to suit each outfit and occasion, whilst still getting that ensured Helly Hansen protection.
Helly Hansen Classics Trench Coat, £160: If you are looking for a coat that is suitable for everyday use then this classic trench, with a hood feature, is the one for you. Providing that classic trench look, it is made from the best protective materials to ensure that it is wind and rain resistant, whilst also giving a ventilated structure to the silhouette too. This is perfect for those who run a little warm all the time but need that layer of protection from the elements too.
All of the coats are suitable for wind, rain and even sunshine, as they provide a real balance of protection. Something that Helly Hansen are always fantastic about. Having tested the Avenue Trench out, I can confirm that it is unlike any trench coat I have had before. I am always feeling cold but not in this one. Knowing that I can go through any occasion wearing it fills me with pure joy.
Helly Hansen may not be the brand you would normally think about turning to for a trench coat but I can’t suggest them enough lovelies. Trenches are made for summer and these styles are the ones that you will want to be wearing!
