What I Did In February To Prepare For Christmas 2026

Christmas is a time that I celebrate all year round! As we head into the lighter months of the year, I am still dreaming of the days gone by, where we are all snuggled up in the wonders December brings! This has led to a lot of early plans for this year’s celebrations happening in February! Find out what I did right here!

Good Morning Lovelies,

February may be a month for love and pancakes but for me it is all about spending those 28 days plotting Christmas! Oh yes, as someone who loves the joys that December brings, I can’t help but start getting ready early and in February, I did a lot of early planning.

As a family, we did a bit of festive shopping, including getting some table settings in the sale that will bring our table to life throughout the best season of the year. However, the table may just have to wait a little while to be sat at on the 25th December if all things go to plan.

I have always dreamed of helping out in a food kitchen for the homeless or lonely on Christmas Day but didn’t think we had one close to us. Until I found out that there was one just down the road from us, which runs on Christmas Day from 12pm until 3pm. Sending an email off right away, I have started discussions on how me and my mum may be able to volunteer at this year’s event. If we do, I will definitely share my journey with you all.

February also saw us planning a little festive staycation in London that may just involve a spot of Christmas light viewing from the top of the London Eye. That is if I can convince my mum to get up there with me. We are both scared of heights but I think we can conquer them for this once in a lifetime experience.

Over the last month, I have had so much fun sorting these things and I am now secretly wishing away the rest of the year to get to them. Well, not completely, as I do like the rest of the months plotting what to do aha! Have you got anything sorted for this year’s big celebrations? Let me know if so, as I just can’t get enough of hearing about everyone's festive season!
