Welcome to a whole week dedicated to Ireland lovelies! In honour of St Patrick’s Day, I wanted to go all out and celebrate what I think is the best country on earth! Therefore, I am making every single post this week all about it! Get ready to fall as in love with Ireland as much as I do over the next few days!

Good Morning Lovelies,

Tomorrow marks one of the biggest festive days of the year! St Patrick’s Day! All over Ireland, they will be celebrating their great saint, whilst we all join in from wherever we are in the world. Ireland is a place that I absolutely adore. I dream of living and working there. I hope to even find an Irish husband aha!

Therefore, I wanted to spend every day of this week celebrating the greatest place on earth to me with a dedicated post on just why I love it to hopefully help you all fall in love with it too.

Today, I wanted to share with you all just a few reasons why I adore it so much. Writing the following truly made my heart sore and I hope that some of you will feel the same way too upon reading them…

The People Are Amazing: Every single time I have been to Ireland, there has never been a person who hasn’t been incredibly kind to me. Even down to the police, who we watched take someone down. Irish people are some of the most welcoming people in the world and when I am in their presence I feel like I am a part of the family they come from.

History Is Everywhere: No matter where you go in Ireland, whether it be Dublin or Cork, there is a piece of history surrounding it. From the water flowing on the mountains to the iconic breweries and distilleries, there isn’t a street that doesn’t have a story to tell and every single one of them is fascinating.

The Accent Is The Best In The World: It doesn’t matter if I hear the Irish accent in England or in actual Ireland, to me it is the greatest sound in the world. From a deep Northern tilt to a softer Southern sound, the moment the words flow from the lips of an Irish person I fall in love with them. I blame my mum for only playing Irish music when I was younger. She is a big Westlife and Boyzone fan.

The Music Is Magnificent: Speaking of Boyzone and Westlife, the music that Ireland has produced, especially the iconic Rattlin’ Bog, is simply iconic. As soon as I step foot in an Irish pub and hear the sounds coming from it, I want to dance and party with everyone in the pub. Even the slow songs make you feel something that you didn’t know that you could.

They Know How To Pour A Perfect Pint: Finally, you can’t praise Ireland without praising the iconic drinks that they have produced for all of us around the world. Even as someone who doesn’t drink, I appreciate and adore the hard work that the country has and is doing to improve our palates. Plus, drinking a 00 Guiness is my big goal this year, which I am very excited about. I may just have to fly to Ireland to do it aha!

Have you been to Ireland lovelies? Are you from there? I would absolutely love to hear what you think of it and if you share the same amount of love for Ireland as I do! It really is a wonderful place and this week is going to be full of partying in celebration of it! Get the Guinness prepared lovelies! The party has officially begun!
