My January 2026 Monthly Favourites
00:00:00Thankfully, the longest month of the year is over and now we are going full force into the lighter mornings, as we approach the middle of February! The month of love! Even though the days were not so bright, as the weather failed to shine, there were many moments in January that I simply loved! Discover my favourite things from it right here!
Good Morning Lovelies,
Can you believe that we have come to the end of January already? I feel like this year is going to be a mad one that is going to zoom past us and I find that pretty scary to be honest. As I tried to keep up with the rush that was the last 31 days, I managed to gather a few moments and items that made it special to me.
From big personal changes to old favourites that don’t seem to be going anywhere, I found the following to be very good for my soul. I hope you enjoy hearing about them lovelies…
My Favourite Podcast - Staying Relevant: New year, same favourite! Every time 12am rolls around on a Monday or Thursday morning, I have to stay up to hear the latest adventures from Pete Wicks and Sam Thompson. In January, they promised big things for the next few months, so I am pumped to hear all about them.
My Favourite Beauty Item - Sol De Janeiro 71 Body Spray: Another classic but faithful of mine is this spray. For Christmas, my mum brought me the bigger version of the bottles and I have been using it non-stop since. To me, it smells like delicious biscuits and every time I wear it I get compliments, which gives me a huge boost.
My Favourite Book - The Gingerbread Bakery By Laurie Gilmore: Speaking of biscuits, I fell head over heels in love with the latest book in the hit series from Laurie Gilmore during January. The love story that flipped between past and present has actually become my favourite out of them all and I can't wait for the spring story to arrive now to see if it matches up to this one.
My Favourite Food - Flavahans Jumbo Oats Porridge & Rowse Dark Honey: After a busy December trying new foods and challenging myself, I have plans to change a few things up with what I eat. However, I found that during the cold days within January, all I wanted was a good bowlful of my old faithful. I simply love a good, thick, chunky bowl of this drizzled and glazed with the Rowse Dark Honey. I am going to have a bowl of it after I write this in fact, as talking about it has made me want it.
My Favourite TV Show/Film - Bridgerton (Series Four): Having binged the first three series in under a month at the end of last year, I couldn’t wait to watch my favourite Bridgerton’s love story. With only a few weeks to go until the second part, I have been rewatching and rewatching the first part, as I can’t get enough of it. Benedict Bridgerton, you are the best!
My Favourite Moment - Refreshing My Life: At the end of last year, I really didn’t have much of a control over my life. I wasn’t looking after myself well. I would eat and go to bed super late. I wouldn’t wake up until most of the day was gone and I found myself scared to go out and try new things. Yet, with a big confidence boost hitting me in January, I changed a lot of that around. Working slowly with my mum and mental health team, I am making everything an hour earlier, drinking more fluids, trying new foods and I have even started adding little low impact workouts and stretch routines back into my life. It is super scary to do all of this, I have managed to keep it up so far and seeing the pride on my mum’s face makes me super happy.
January brought with it a whole lot of changes, which were scary but good for me! I hope that I can continue to follow them throughout the year, as I can already see how much of an impact they are making on my mental health! What were your favourite moments from the month of January lovelies? Let me know!
