Good Morning Lovelies, 

Every day, I like to do something that will help to improve my mind. Something creative that will help to bring a little bit of extra joy into my life. This is more often than not done in the form of colouring in, writing or even baking. However, something that it has never been is painting.

I have always struggled with putting a brush to paper, as I am not the best when it comes to things like that and I never have been. When I was at school, I would dread going into art if I knew we would be painting. So, I avoided it at all costs afterwards, even though I wish I could have been good at it. 

Yet, as I have gotten older, I have learnt that it is never too late to give it a go. Therefore, when I was made aware of the wonderful Art Lab Watercolour Case, which includes six watercolour paints, 12 pieces of paper and 10 special tools to help become an expert at water based art, I was eager to give them a go. 

After kindly being sent a set to try, I popped on a film and nestled down on a rainy sunday to give it a go. Using the handy stencils and tracing tools, I outlined my desired design first, before using the workstation to begin painting with the brush and sponge provided. 

I won’t lie, at first I found it really hard and did get a little frustrated. Not because of the kit but because of my not so great pieces. Yet, every day I have continued to work on it and thanks to the handy kit, I have been able to get a whole lot better. With room to add more colours and with the ability to move it around, I have gotten more adventurous and found that painting can be a real joy. 

A feeling that I am certain you and those around you will feel too. The case has made it possible to find happiness in something that I never thought I would and seeing the paintings come to life will almost certainly do the same for others who were like me. With the Easter holidays coming up, the case is also perfect to provide endless hours of fun, which can be transported around too.
