My Monthly Favourites From December 2025

00:00:00

December is my favourite month of the whole year! So, I have to admit that I found it very hard to pick out a few favourites from it to share with you all! However, these six wonders really made it that little bit extra special! Find out what I loved so very much during the brilliant month that was December 2025 right here!

Good Morning Lovelies,

Anyone who adores Christmas like me will know just how hard it is to get past it being over! I find myself really struggling now that the decorations are down and we are now having to wait 11 months for the next big festive event.

To help me get over it though, I have gathered a few of my favourite things from December 2025 that bring a smile to my face when I think of them. Many of these will be used to help me get through these cold nights and mornings that are missing those fairy lights. I might even have to put them back up in celebration of these…

My Favourite Podcast - Staying Relevant: When I hear Pete Wicks moaning about Christmas, I can’t help but laugh. As a dedicated listener, I know that he isn’t as harsh as he seems and his friendship with Sam throughout December made me so happy. If you haven’t heard it before, add it to your resolutions list to do so.

My Favourite Beauty Item - Marc Jacobs Wild/Wild Intense Perfume: At Christmas, you have to treat yourself, as well as others. One big treat I made for myself was a bottle of Wild from my favourite Marc Jacobs. Then my mum treated me to the Wild Intense kind on the big day. Now, I have to decide each day which one to wear, as I don’t want to use them up but I love them so much.

My Favourite Book - A Heart For Christmas Advent Calendar Book By Sophie Jomain: As someone who struggles with the chocolate kinds of advent calendars, my mum got me this one. I absolutely loved the suspense that I was left with after each chapter. I actually found that reading this suspenseful love story later in the day better, as it meant I was closer to midnight, which would make it acceptable to open the next chapter.

My Favourite Food - My Mum’s Homemade Christmas Dinner: All year, I prepare myself for my mum’s Christmas dinner. With the added pressure of the food we had on the cruise and not being able to taste very well still, I knew that by being mentally prepared for this dinner, I would find it so much easier to handle. My mum knocked it out of the park like normal and I could even get the flavours from some of it, which made me so happy.

My Favourite TV Show/Film - All The Christmas Specials: Classic Christmas films and TV shows, alongside new favourites, made up my choices throughout December. If I don’t see Nativity, Home Alone, Christmas With The Kranks and It’s A Wonderful Life at least one, it isn’t Christmas to me! Oh and the Gavin and Stacey Christmas too. Perfect Christmas features in every single way.

My Favourite Moment - The Whole Of December: Christmas time is my favourite time of the year and 2025 marked an epic month. From the decorations going up, to special days out with my mum, including a trip to the new Guinness factory in London to an epic cruise that I took on bravely, I loved every second of it. I was so in awe of the whole month that I had to make a plan for 2026 in it. Dublin in December, here we come!

What were some of the best things that happened or you enjoyed in December lovelies? Let me know!
