Skincare is still reigning high on my must do list, as I am desperately trying to make sure that my combination based skin is well looked after. Having battled the harsh cold weathers and the horrors of central heating, it has really gone through a lot over the last few months, which is why I was so excited to put a new brand to the test. 

Although it is only just reaching audiences, the team behind Geek & Gorgeous have been working their magic for nearly 20 years. Using only the best and most natural active ingredients, as well as the latest technology, to build their products, which are suitable for all skin types. Something I am very appreciative of, as I have recently learnt that my skin is actually allergic to a lot of the ingredients in other products. 

Having kindly been sent a whole load of their collection to try, I couldn’t wait to dedicate a whole pamper day to using them all. As many of you know, I love to spend a Sunday looking after my skin, therefore, I decided to dedicate the last few ones to putting these products to the test. With all of the items I had coming from their 101 Collection, I started my routine with their Mighty Melt Cleansing Balm. 

Upon unscrewing the lid, I was greeted by a lovely refreshing scent that made me excited to apply it. Using a small amount, I rubbed the cream all over my face before rinsing it off in the shower. Leaving a super clean feeling on my face upon stepping out, I was amazed at how smooth my skin was left feeling. Something that made me eager to apply their Jelly Joker Gentle Cleanser afterwards, as a second step cleanse. 

Due to my skin and my raynauds, anything that foams causes my skin to go extra dry. Therefore, having this in a gel format meant that I knew my skin would not have a bad reaction to it. After wetting my skin again, I rubbed it all over, allowing it to soak in for a few seconds, before rinsing it off. Again, I found my skin to have had the same reaction as it did to the balm, which was a super clean and smooth feeling. Skin that was ready to have the serums and moisturisers applied to it. 

As someone who recently turned 30, I have seen my skin lacking a little bit though in terms of elasticity and glow. When I opened the package, I was very excited to therefore see some serums included in it. Especially their C-Glow bottle, which is full to the brim with skin glowing Vitamin C extracts. Advised to place on after the cleansing lotions and balms, I used the applicator to place a few drops onto my face in the morning, before blending in with my finger tips. 

Unlike others, the serum wasn’t sticker and instantly gave my skin the lift it needed to help get it through the day. My skin appeared tighter and fuller, providing a real joy to my life. Something that was equally boosted when I added the Stress Less gel to my skin straight after, which again eased away any lines and worries that my skin was showing. Again, it wasn’t sticky, instead providing a cooling feel that put me right at ease.
