Good Morning Lovelies, 

As we enter the start of a new year, the after Christmas sadness always hits me hard. So, I like to throw myself right into planning what I am going to get up to or need to have ready for this year’s December early. This includes presents, decorations and even holiday shopping. 

The sales in January are always the most perfect time to find a good trip, yet, it was in December 2025 that I booked my festive holiday for this year. After the most magical time in Dublin for my birthday last year, I was desperately hoping to go back before Christmas last year. However, the timings just didn’t work out.

Yet, that didn’t stop me from still dreaming about it, until I found an amazing deal online around the 2nd December. For under £500, I managed to secure a whole week in the most amazing place on earth for the start of December 2026 with my mum. Whilst we had planned to go to Disneyland Paris, it was a lot cheaper to head to Dublin and I was not disappointed to do so. 

Dublin is the most special place in the world to me. I have never had a bad experience there and to go with my mum at Christmas just feels my heart with so much joy. It is every Christmas present that I could ever want. In fact, when my mum asked me last year what I wanted for Christmas, I wrote a Dublin holiday as a joke. Little did I know that we would be booking a trip together before we had even got to the big day. 

Over the next few months, I will be going full force into planning the decorations we want to have up. The presents that my mum sneakily points out to me. The plans that need to be made to make the season extra special this year. There is no perfect time to get ready for the next Christmas. Every day is the perfect day aha!
