What I Can't Wait To Watch In 2026!
00:05:002025 may have delivered some excellent films and TV shows but 2026 looks set to bring even bigger ones! From the new Avengers to old friends returning, these eight releases are the ones that I can’t wait to watch over the next 12 months! Get those devices ready to binge on these all day long lovelies, as I need you to join me!
Good Morning Lovelies,
If 2025 brought anything into our lives, it was the brilliant TV shows and films that aired across its 12 months. From out of this world adventures to new faces making us fall head over heels in love with them, I could go on and on about the ones that I truly loved.
However, as we head into the new year, I thought it was time to celebrate the new releases that will be making their way onto our screens very soon. Honestly, I already have these bookmarked into my calendar to make sure I don’t miss them…
Rivals (Season Two), Unknown Release Date: Having seen some pictures of the cast filming online, I can’t wait for this fun frolic to return. Whilst it can have its intense moments, the show is easy to watch, whilst also being super entertaining too. I can’t wait to see how David Tennant’s evil character returns and the way that Rupert and Taggie’s relationship develops.
The Devil Wears Prada 2, 1st May: With the original cast returning for this second instalment, I have no doubts that it will be influencing the way we dress for a long time. I won’t lie, I am definitely watching to see how Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci’s characters have developed.
Toy Story 5, 19th June: No matter how old or young you are, there is nothing more special than catching up with Woody, Jessie and Buzz. Whilst I do think they should have stopped making them at number three, I will always take the time to watch the next in the franchise as I love the characters so much. Plus, I can’t wait to see how they tackle the addition of technology to their games room.
The Hunger Games: Sunrise On The Reaping, 20th November: My favourite book of 2025 is currently being turned into the latest film in the franchise and I can’t wait to see how they bring a young Haymitch’s story to life. Whilst we may know the plot to the book, the filming has been kept very underwraps, however, it has got an incredible cast, who are going to renew our love of the classic characters. I am certain of it.
Avengers: Doomsday, 18th December: With so many of the classic characters returning for the latest Avengers film, the most exciting part about it is seeing Robert Downey Jr transforming from a superhero into a villain. His Dr Doom is going to be immense if I do say so!
Maxton Hall (Season Three), Unknown Release Date: As I write this, I am binging on the second season all over again. I simply can’t get enough of this franchise. Whilst I haven’t read the books, I have seen a few spoilers and from what it seems they are sticking very much to them. If this is the case then the final season is going to be an intense but fantastic viewing.
How To Get To Heaven From Belfast, Unknown February Release Date: Fresh from the creators of Derry Girls, this new Netflix series will follow a bunch of 30 year old women as they navigate life in Belfast. As someone who has just turned 30, I need all the advice I can get, so this is very high up on my list to watch.
The Summer I Turned Pretty Film, Unknown Release Date: There is no certainty that this film will be out in 2026 but I am hoping that it is! If you have read the books then you will probably be hoping for the same storyline as me. We need a wedding and definitely more Conrad!
What are you all most excited to watch in 2026 lovelies? Let me know, as I always want to hear about features that I may be missing out on! Here is to a great year of TV and film!
