With the weather having gotten colder, the idea of staying snug as a bug in a rug is one that I can definitely get on board with! Ever since I was little, I have loved to be wrapped up in loads of blankets. Honestly, when I get into bed, I have to have the duvet wrapped around me like a cocoon, covering my head as well. It may seem odd but I think it comes from being wrapped up next to my mum when I was a baby. A time when I felt my cosiest and safest!

Keeping this cosy feeling alive, the wonderful team at Sustainabub, the award-winning baby muslin blanket and carrier brand, are about to blow up the parenting market with their items. And rightfully so! Having kindly been given two of their most popular items to try, I was in awe of them from the moment I felt them. Especially the wrap carrier that we tested out first.

Using only the most environmentally friendly materials that are safe for the whole family, the carrier sling that I received had to be one of the softest things that I have ever felt. Upon unboxing it, I found a small bag to keep it safe in before I pulled out the actual item. With a handy instruction booklet to follow, I quickly had it wrapped around my mum in no time. 

Popping weighted items into the sling that resembled a baby, she was able to carry a lot before she felt it in her back. Highlighting how far in your child’s journey the sling can go, as you could easily continue to hold them in it for a number of years, as they can take up to 30lbs of weight and happily stretch to fit all babies within them. 

When we removed the wrap from around my mum, she tried to hold the items and was easily able to slip it off without fearing she would drop anything. A very reassuring sign when some slings can be hard to get off leading to a lot of frustrations.

Moving onto the next product we were kindly sent, we were soon unboxing the wonderful muslin blankets that came in a pack of three. With a number of different patterns available, we had been given the fern printed ones to try. Having won a number of awards for their beautiful muslins, we were both excited to see how they would feel and to test them on mopping up different spills we made. 

After unwrapping it, we were greeted with blankets that could easily be worn as a scarf. They were super soft, making them an item that I would happily use to carefully wipe a little milk or food spill. Upon using them to mop up a little milk drip that we made, they quickly absorbed it up and dried easily too. Something that makes them great for when you are on the go. 

The fabric was light and breathable but also warming too, making them perfect if you need an extra layer on a cold day. For a blanket, Sustainabub have created a muslin that parents will be able to have full faith in when using. My mum stated that she would have loved to have had a product like it when we were younger, as it was so much more helpful compared to what she had. 

Overall, we were very impressed with what we found when we used both the products and would highly recommend them to all parents to be and those who are looking for something new for their little ones.
