Good Morning Lovelies,
In the lead up to and after Christmas, snacks are essential! Whether they be leftovers from the big event or those that you can gift to your loved ones, snacking is key to help us get through all the big going ons that the season brings.
With so many brands helping us during this time, I have some exciting new faces to share with you today that will make this Christmas a whole lot easier to navigate for the whole family. From fruity delights for the little ones to alcoholic fancies that the adults can tuck into after hours, you will not want to miss out on these fantastic foodie finds…
Bailey’s Chocolate Caramel Whirls, £1: Not one for the little loves in your life, these boozy delights go well with a chilled glass of the luxurious Irish cream. As a big fan of all things Irish, I can’t recommend these enough, as they have that real Bailey’s taste within the soft mallow filling, which is only enhanced to greater lengths by the added caramel. If you need to present Christmas with a type of chocolate then this is the snack to do it with.
The Fruit Factory Sour Apple Strings, £2.50: When we think of sour items, we often associate them with Halloween. Yet, these fruity strings will help to bring a bit of fun to all, as the faces that those eating will pull when enjoying them will be hilarious. Full of real apple fruit juice, these strings are a great addition to any little ones stocking or to add to fruity cocktails as an olive alternative this Christmas.
Burts Maple Pigs In Blankets Crisps, From £18 For A Box: Perfect for putting out when you have a crowd coming round, these bacon, sausage and maple syrup flavoured crisps are unlike any over pigs in blankets flavoured snack. Once your festive party gets a taste of their richness they won’t be able to stop tucking in, so a big box is very much worth it. You may even want to hide some to make sure you have enough to see you through the busiest two weeks of the year.
The Fruit Factory Tropical Fruit Twists, £2.50: If you or the little ones in your life are missing the sun then these twists will bring some sunshine into your lives. With no nasties involved, these can be popped into lunch boxes, stockings and sweet jars as a fruity alternative to the normal gummies. Made up of four flavours including mango, watermelon, pineapple and passionfruit, these snacks are also a great way to keep kids happy whilst travelling from house to house this Christmas.
Colston Bassett Stilton British Cheese, From £8.66: Available at a number of outlets on and offline, this cheese is the ultimate festive snack to enjoy with a gorgeous tipple of port or blackcurrant juice for the little ones. Rich, smooth and even a little spicy, this cheese is made under the care and attention of Billy Kevan, a cheesemaker, who is full of pride and rightfully so at being the only creator of hand-ladled stilton still today. And you can really tell! Beautiful on its own, with crackers or even in a festive filled toastie, it is a blue cheese like no other. Delicious is an understatement!
Whether you are heading to someone else's home, out on a festive adventure or simply sitting in front of some good old fashioned Christmas TV, these snacks will help to keep you and your family satisfied completely!
Like little Christmas presents of their own, when you unwrap their packaging, you will get just as excited as you do when unwrapping that must have present that has been sitting under the tree!
