What Did I Watch During October 2025?
00:00:00October may be the right time to get spooky, however, I felt a lot of love when it came to what I watched during it! The only spooky thing I watched I turned off! But not because I was scared! It was truly disturbing viewing, which led me to seeking out others to entertain myself with! Find out what I watched right here!
Good Morning Lovelies,
With the weather changing and Halloween season being in full effect, I embraced the cosiness of October a lot with my TV choices. Whilst I didn’t catch any new films, I watched a few classics to help mark the scariest event of the year.
However, most of my TV options were full of love and light hearted themes. The one scary screening I had was so horrific that I turned it off. Though it wasn’t because I was scared. It was all down to my utter hatred of it after only one episode. Find out which show I am talking about and five others that I really loved below lovelies…
Chad Powers: As someone who adores Glen Powell, I was interested to see him take on a new role, which he helped to create. This comedy was actually a real delight to watch, taking me back to the 90s old school classics. To me, it feels like the child of Mrs Doubtfire and Ted Lasso. Two icons making a new one!
Monster: The Ed Gein Story: I won’t lie, I hated this. I had really high hopes for it to be great. Yet, I turned it off and knew I couldn’t watch anymore after the first episode. Charlie Hunnam is a great actor to me and he was compelling in this, however, I couldn’t stand the way that the story was being told. It was making light of some really tough subjects at times and I couldn't get on board with that.
Sharon & Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home: This was a very touching documentary that I would recommend to anyone. Whether you are an Ozzy fan or not, it shows his dedication to his love of performing and how much of an amazing person he was. I hope we get to see more of the Osbournes back on our screens soon.
Nobody Wants This (Season Two): I adored the first season of this show, so having it back in my life was a real joy. I couldn’t hold back and ended up binging on it. Adam Brody and Kristen Bell are just perfect on-screen partners!
Bridgerton (Season Three): I have continued with my Bridgerton journey and headed straight into and finished the season that I have been wanting to see from the start quickly in a matter of days. The week I started watching, I found out that the fourth season had been given a release date, which made me even more excited to catch up on all the action. As of now, Colin and Penelope are definitely my favourite couple out of all of them.
Murder Before Evensong: Catching a few episodes of this with my mum, we watched them together and found the episodes were very much like Grantchester. Easy to binge on, the cast is very likeable, as you watch each one to find out the end result. It was the perfect material to view if you don't like scary stuff but wanted a little thrill for Halloween. Light a cosy winter fire and enjoy this boxset in one lovelies!
What did you all watch in October lovelies? Anything spooky? Let me know what you think we should all be viewing and I will make sure to take a look!
