Having grown up on music from all the decades, seeing the fantastic That’ll Be The Day, at our local theatre brought about an incredible amount of fun to our Saturday night! Having embraced all the wonders of the musical world, we couldn’t have got up and danced the night away more! Find out all about what happened during the show last night here!

Good Morning Lovelies,

Last night, our Saturday night was brought to life by the fantastic show, That’ll Be The Day! Having toured around the UK for years, decades even, as it reaches its 40th year this year, the cast and crew are celebrating their big anniversary with a mega tour around the country in celebration.

Kindly, I was invited to see one of the shows at my local theatre, the Gordon Craig Theatre in Stevenage and we absolutely loved it. From comical moments to musical hits from over the years, the show's creator Trevor Payne knows how to work an audience to give them everything that they could be expecting and more.

From tribute acts to moments based on hit TV segments from years gone by, the audiences may be made up more of older members but that doesn’t mean that younger years can’t enjoy it too. Especially when the songs are such fantastic tunes that all, even little ones will know.

A real treat is seeing how much the cast appreciate each other. Each member is talented in so many ways and it really shows in how much value they give one another for their talents. They don’t let anyone feel like they are not important.

In the two hours and 40 minutes in which it runs, every second is a real celebration of their worth and the joy that they want to bring to audiences up and down the UK and beyond. This is shown even in the set design, which captures each decade with the flare in which we all know that time for.

Trevor may be leaving the show soon, yet, he can know that he is leaving it in very safe hands, as each star on the night will work hard to maintain his legacy. It is a real joy to see and no matter what age you are, you will appreciate the fun, music and comedy that it brings into your life. It will truly be a day of utter joy if and when you see it lovelies! Something I would suggest you do as soon as possible if you can!
