Good Morning Lovelies, 

My hair is something that has caused me a lot of worrying! Due to my illnesses, I have dealt with the sad loss of the thick volume that I once had. My dad’s hair in fact. As I fight to get back what it once was, I am seeking and trying as many products that I can to really get the best out of it, including derma rolling, which wasn’t something I had even imagined doing. 

Yet, when the fantastic Syra got in touch to share their products with me, I was very intrigued to see what they could do for me. After kindly gifting me some of their amazing Aura Scalp Balm and Glow Dermaroller, I got stuck in right away to see what they could do for me. 

I won’t lie upon first using the derma roller, I was shocked by the sensations it left on my scalp. Following the instructions that the team gave, I sectioned my hair, after washing it, and rolled the little needles all over. It wasn’t painful but it was a feeling that I had never had before. As someone who likes to have fingers run through their hair, I did sort of enjoy it though lovelies. 

After spending around 15 minutes doing this, I then put the scalp balm into use, as I felt like the oils and nutrients would be able to really set in by having the ability to heal the areas that had been micro-needled. The balm was super soothing and running my fingers through my hair brought an extra sense of calm to me. 

Having used it over the past few weeks, I make sure to now spend time every Sunday, after my everything shower, to really massage and calm my scalp. Both products have definitely activated something on my scalp and I do feel like I have been getting some good growth because of them. I even have little wisps of hair around the crown of my head that I didn’t have before. 

Although the products may seem costly, I can confirm that they do work, especially in areas that are lacking volume or strength. I feel like my hair is now at a good enough strength that I can start styling or colouring it the way that I want to.
