What I Got For My 30th Birthday

00:00:00

My 30th birthday may have been nearly a month ago but I am still in awe of the whole thing! My trip away to celebrate was truly magical and I was really split whilst there! I got some incredible gifts, which I thought I would share with you all, as I love to see items like this! Find out what I got for my birthday right here!

Good Morning Lovelies,

I’m a bit of a nosy person, I have to admit! I love seeing what I eat in a day or what I got for my birthday vlogs and blog posts. There so, in honour of my 30th birthday, I thought I would share with you all some of the lovely gifts I received.

I was very fortunate to go to Dublin for the big day and I picked up a number of presents whilst there, which I will cherish forever. Especially one really beautiful necklace from my mum. Plus, she really continued to spoil me when I got home too.

I’m not making this post to brag about the items, as I truly appreciate everything I get. I just thought it might be a bit of a different but fun piece to share. I hope you like it lovelies. Here is what I got for my big birthday…

Guinness Storehouse T-Shirt: When we got to the gift shop section of the Guinness Storehouse tour, I knew I needed to buy this top as soon as I saw it. The design was exclusive to the shop, as it has a big Go Irish print on the back. Anything Irish I will root for, so it was definitely one for me.

Teeling Whiskey Distillery T-Shirt: I had never been inside a real working distillery before and I really loved every minute of this experience. The staff were wearing these tops and I loved them. I was so happy to find that they sold the same tops in the gift shop.

Temple Bar T-Shirt: Three days in a row I went to Temple Bar. I don’t drink, yet, I wanted to enjoy the music and boy did I. Again, this purchase was influenced by how much I loved the staff outfits. I’m definitely a sucker for a print on the back tee I think it is safe to say.

A Personalised Littlesmith Necklace: Before we went to Dublin, my goal was to buy a Claddagh ring. Yet, I couldn’t find the right one for me. Upon a little trip in Arnotts though, I completely changed my mind on the piece I wanted to bring home upon seeing these necklaces. Personalised to you, I got one to mark me and my mum’s trip away with our initials, Dublin and the month and year engraved on it. I cherish this present so much.

Fame By Paco Rabanne: I can’t not celebrate a big occasion without a scent to remind me of it. I had fallen for this perfume a long time ago, so to receive it as a present was a real joy. It’s not the smell of turning 30 to me.

Krispy Kreme X Primark T-Shirt: Doughnuts are my favourite kind of snack or pudding! Especially Krispy Kreme glazed ones! Although I haven’t had one in years, due to my ED, I will always praise the brand. Receiving this top was the only cake I needed on my birthday. Now I can look like I work there and praise them until my heart is content.

New Look Meet Me In Sicily T-Shirt: My Pops was from Sicily, so we all have a very fond place for it in our hearts in our home. I spotted this on the New Look website a while ago and I’m so thankful that my mum remembered it. Now when I wear it, I will think of my dad and family members.

Adidas Coat: I don’t know what has happened to me, however, I have fallen head over heels for anything by Adidas recently! This lightweight but sturdy coat is my new outdoor piece that is helping to protect me when the weather doesn’t know what it wants to do in the UK. This means that I have been wearing it a lot.

Ride The Wave by Katherine Reilly Book: Summer is a time where I don’t read as much but still look for a great read. I had spotted this a while ago and had been hearing great things about it. I can’t wait to get stuck into this sunny love story soon.

An Arrow Word Puzzle Book: I’m an old lady trapped in a young persons body! I love a good arrow word, so I can assure you that this won’t last long.

Mini Cupcake Plush: Even though I couldn’t manage an actual cake, my mum didn’t want me to miss out, so she brought me a Jellycat dupe that was so cute.

Bath & Body Works Happy Birthday Shower Gel: This smells like birthday cake in a bottle. Super strong in scent, it lasts all day on your skin. Something I was very grateful for, as it is truly delicious. Warning, don’t eat it, even though it smells like a bakery.

LEGO Happy Plants & Italian Postcard Sets: You know that I can’t not ask for a piece of LEGO. The happy plants were something I wanted to help keep my botanical collection going, whilst I wanted the postcard to go in my dad’s room. I had a lot of fun building these upon receiving them. They are now out and on show in their chosen areas.

Memory Lane Book: I’m a big sucker for anything that makes me feel nostalgic. If I could go back in time to my childhood I would. This book was made by my mum and tells the story of my life over the years. Highlighting the songs, films and news story that were big when I was younger, it had me longing for those days all over again.

I’m so very very thankful to my mum for all of these wonderful items! I had some beautiful cards and gifts from friends too. Yet, these were my main gifts from my mum, which really touched my heart! I will be wearing every one of those shirts for years to come and each time I am sure they will make me smile!
