Good Morning Lovelies, 

Now I don’t want to sound big headed, however, I often say to people I know that my favourite feature on my body are my eyes. I love the way that they match the colour of my dad’s, making sure he lives on when people look into them. I love the way that my eyelashes have remained thick and bold. I even like the snap of my brows. 

Yet, it is my eyelashes that I strive to make stand out the most on a night out. Often turning to my trusty curlers, I have got a little worried recently about using them, as I fear losing the hairs due to the pulls caused by the tools. There so, I have been seeking other ways to present bold lashes without the worries curlers cause. 

When the brand LZRD LASH got in touch, I was therefore very excited. Made using vegan, eco-conscious materials, the lashes have been designed by Zii Lizard, a transgender icon, who is changing the beauty game for the better. It was a real honour to hear and trial the brand after hearing all about it and Zii’s goals. 

Fully supporting all of those within the LGBTQ+ society, it was a huge privilege to receive the Vixen and Dream Girl Strip lashes, as well as the glue and tools to apply them. The team also kindly sent me their VIP Backstage Lash Kit, which was full of every individual lash you could want and need to make the look you desire. 

Having had a bit more experience using the strip lashes, I decided to trial them first. Both gave a beautifully authentic look that made my eyes pop. Even behind my glasses. I felt like you could see the richer colours of the brown eyes I have and this made me feel confident. Something I definitely lack. 

Easy to put on and take off, the lashes could be used safely a number of times to, meaning I didn’t feel like I was being unkind to the planet. Something I found when trying them individual lashes too. 

Whilst a little bit more fiddly for me, they helped to build up a look with my natural lashes that gave a tiny pop when I didn’t feel like a big affair. The glue and tools glided them on with ease and I loved it when people complimented me on them, without any idea that they were false. 

Zii is someone who is passionate about building a make up brand that everyone can enjoy and she should definitely be proud of what she has achieved. Knowing the difference that they are making to many and how they feel makes wearing them even more enjoyable!
