My Favourite Moments From June 2025

00:00:00

June was a month that came and went in the blink of an eye! With less that six months left of the year, it is hard to keep up to date with what is happening, but I managed to take a moment to remind myself of what was so magical about the month. Find my favourite moments from the month of June here!

Good Morning Lovelies,

Can you actually believe that there is less than six months until we enter 2026? I swear since the pandemic time seems to just fly by. It seems like only moments ago we were celebrating Christmas and now we are preparing for the next one!

Before we get there though lovelies, I took a few moments over the past few days to write down and reflect on what I loved about last month. June marks one of the most important days of the year for me, which is my mum’s birthday. We celebrated it together, as well as celebrating a number of new favourites throughout the month too…

My Favourite Book - Hate Mail by Donna Marchetti: My mum picked me up a copy of this in Aldi, as I had recently told her that I had been struggling to find a good book. Whilst I haven’t read much of it, I am really enjoying the story and characters. I find reading in summer harder than in winter but I will definitely be enjoying it on the plane when I fly off soon.

My Favourite Podcast - Dish: I’ve really gotten into this podcast recently! I love how fun Nick Grimshaw and Angela Hartnett are together and their guests are always entertains too. A recent personal favourite was their interview with Nick Frost, who took over the kitchen, due to his impressive chopping skills.

My Favourite TV/Film - The Bear (Season Four): I don’t care what anyone says, I love this show so much. Even when it spirals out of control, I get wrapped up in the chaos. When the new season dropped, I went in hard, finishing it in two days. I a, now begging for an answer to the finale. It seriously can’t be the end. It can’t!

My Favourite Beauty Item - Goldie by Steve Madden Perfume: I got this perfume for £7.50! Can you believe that? It was meant to be £69, however, there was an amazing deal on, so I snapped a bottle up. It smells super summery with lots of hints of orange and citrus. I felt like I was back in Italy!

My Favourite Food - Mash Potatoes and Gravy: After suffering from a severe infection caused by a repeat Bronoscopy in June, I didn’t have much of an appetite. Yet, it was during this time that I tried to challenge myself and managed to have mashed potato. Cover in thick gravy. Whilst it terrified me, it brought me back to when I was younger and my mum would make me it when I was ill. A proper comfort food even in the hottest weather.

My Favourite Moment - My Mum’s Birthday: The hottest and longest day of the year was my mum’s birthday. Any day where I can spoil her rotten is my favourite kind of day. We didn’t do much due to the weather, yet, I took her shopping, gave her a few surprise gifts and brought her dinner too. Any moment I spend with my mum is special to me, so I loved spoiling her on her big day.

What were your favourite moments in June lovelies? Did you do something that was super special? I would love to hear all about them in the comments below!
