Happy Eurovision Day! Party The Night Away With My Top Tips!
00:00:00It’s finally arrived! The greatest contest on earth has landed and tonight we will be celebrating the weird and wonderful acts taking part in the Eurovision Song Contest! However, if you have suddenly found yourself worrying that you are not party ready, don’t panic! I have everything to help you have the ultimate party tonight! You definitely won’t get nil points after this!
Good Morning Lovelies,
I look forward to this day all year round! I’ve even got my mum excited for it! Yes, the Eurovision Song Contest finale is here and I can’t wait to party the night away! Even if the best bit is the points section and Graham Norton’s commentary!
If you are having a party tonight to celebrate the big event and are worried you may have left things a little too late don’t panic! Many people will be in the same boat, as we all patiently waited for the semi-finals to be over to know which acts were in it before decorating.
To help you have the party of your life, I have gathered some of my top tips and ideas to have the best themed night possible! It’s time to take to the stage with these five top points…
The Dress Code: Ask guests to raid their wardrobes and come up with a costume that represents a country with items they already own. Imagination is key but also super fun, as it puts creativity to the ultimate test. Plus, it helps to save money and prevents fast fashion too.
Bites On A Budget: You don’t have to cater for everyone! Ask your guests to bring a dish inspired by a country and see what they come up with. Or if you are based in a country that is performing go for classic party foods from there! Anyone in the UK will know this means a pineapple and cheese hedgehog, Party Rings, cocktail sausages and a classic sandwich spread!
Keep Score And Play On: Whilst the main competition may be on the big screen, you can also have fun hosting your own mini games. Think classic Eurovision bingo or charades, where guests will have to guess which act a person is. You could even host a mini silent disco.
Decorate To Disco: Setting the scene for any party is key but it doesn’t have to cost the Earth. Print out different flags and make bunting from them. Place flashing fairy lights to create a disco vibe. If you fancy a more cosy affair, throw all the pillows you own on the floor and snuggle up into the late point counting hours.
Commentate To Make Graham Proud: Graham Norton may be the king of the Eurovision commentary but you could have some fun trying to out do him. Keep a close eye on the screen to help channel your inner Norton. Give the best line of the night a prize!
Will you be watching Eurovision lovelies? If you are come and join me on social media, where I will be commentating the night away! Just call me Rylan, Scott or the king that is Graham because I am ready to dance the Eurovision night away!
