Happy Birthday To My Brother! Let’s Celebrate With Some Epic Brownies!

00:00:00

Today marks my brother Gio’s birthday! At 38, he is still the most annoying person in my life but I have to admit that I’d be lost without him! He may not be here with us to celebrate but I wasn’t letting the day pass without sharing with you all something special to celebrate his big day! A recipe for his favourite bake!

Good Morning Lovelies,

Brownies are the one good that my brother could eat endless amounts of! In fact, if you gave him a pineapple upside down or lemon drizzle cake, some rhubarb or apple crumble, pancakes and sweets, he would be very happy. However, it is brownies that always come out on top!

Therefore, to celebrate his 38th birthday today, I wanted to share an epic brownie recipe that is so easy to make and super delicious. Birthday candles or not on top, they are party perfect…

Ingredients

One Cup of Granulated Sugar

1/2 Cup of Cocoa

1/2 Cup of Plain Flour

1/2 Cup of Milk

1/2 Teaspoon of Baking Powder

(Optional: A Dash of Vanilla Extract)

Tools

A Small Square Baking Tin

Greaseproof Paper

A Mixing Bowl

A Mixing Spoon

Method

  1. Start by preheating your oven to 175°C/350°F before greasing and lining a small square baking tin. Leave to one side.
  2. In your mixing bowl, add in the sugar, flour, cocoa powder and baking powder. Stir together until well combined.
  3. Once mixed, gradually add in the milk, stirring until smooth and well combined.
  4. Grab your baking tin and pour in the batter, smoothing the top when all mixture is within it.
  5. Place into the oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean (a few crumbs are okay).
  6. Leave in the tin to cool before removing from tin.

You can frost the brownies lovelies or enjoy them as they are or with cream, ice cream or warmed up! They are delicious anyway that you have them lovelies! Happy Birthday Gio! I hope someone makes these for you today!
