Good Morning Lovelies,
There is only a few weeks left to go until Easter is upon us! Whilst many will have trusty recipes to help prepare the ultimate feast on Easter Sunday, I thought I would help you mix it up a bit.
Using only five ingredients, this cloud cake recipe includes everything to do with the Easter season and takes hardly any time at all to create. You will be making it before, during and well after the big event lovelies.
Grab your aprons and mixing bowls and be prepared to fall in love with this carrot and white chocolate cloud cake from here on out…
Ingredients
200g of White Chocolate (Melted)
Three Large Eggs (Separated)
100g of Ground Almonds
50g of Honey
100g of Grated Carrot
Tools
Two Large Mixing Bowls
A Small Cake Tin
Greaseproof Paper
A Whisk
A Mixing Spoon
Method
To start, preheat your oven to 170°C (150°C fan) / 340°F before taking a small cake tin and greasing and lining it with baking paper. Place to one side.
Grabbing your mixing bowl, add in your egg whites and whisk until stiff peaks form. Leave to one side once ready.
Grabbing another mixing bowl, add in the egg yolks, melted white chocolate, carrot, honey and almonds. Mix together until well combined.
Carefully fold in the egg whites until the mixture becomes airy.
Pour the mixture into your cake tin and place into the oven to bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden and set.
Once cooked, allow the cake to cool before dusting with icing sugar or decorating with chocolate and mini eggs for an extra Easter feel.
Super easy and fun, the whole family can enjoy making this little wonder lovelies! Let me know if you do create it, as I would love to hear your thoughts on it!
