Save Money This Spring With These Simple Tips

00:00:00

As we head into spring, the need to put on our heating will hopefully lower! Yet, you never know here in the UK! Therefore, I thought I would use my knowledge from my previous job to help you to lower your utility bills in many areas lovelies! From water to energy bills, these simple solutions may just help you save a few pennies!

Good Morning Lovelies,

Saving money is something I always look to do! Whether it be going to the cheapest supermarket, using vouchers and coupons and fining to have my bills lowered, I have done it all. I even worked on a money saving publication, which gave me even more tips and tricks to use.

There so, I thought, as we head into spring that I would give you all a few of them to help you save money in the warmer months. By doing a few or all of these ideas, you can make a big difference in the long run lovelies…

Unplug & Switch Off: If you are not using an appliance, switch it off at the plug or even put it away until needed. If you don’t use it at all, sell it lovelies. You can also save money by going through your home and switching off all sockets that you have left on. You could even use candles and get super cosy at night instead of turning on lights. Unplug and unwind whilst saving money lovelies.

Use Free Streaming Sites: Netflix and more have just announced that they will be putting their prices up, which is terrible. Take this time to cancel the ones that you don’t use and use free services such as BBC iPlayer, Channel 4 and YouTube, which probably have the same shows on them anyway, to watch the shows you love.

Shower Karaoke: Cut the amount of time you have in the shower by hosting a karaoke challenge. Put on one song and sing or was for only the time that it plays. See it as your talent show audition time to shine.

Visit Local Services: Instead of buying books, head to your local library and see if they have the book you are dying to read. Look up where your local warm spaces may be and stay cosy whilst meeting new people. Shop in second hand shops to help give a product another life whilst saving money. There are so many things around you that you may not even know or use that can save a lot of money.

Mystery Dinner Party Night: If you like to socialise with friends, but are worried about all the summer plans being made and your money, host a mystery dinner party. Challenge guests to only use the items they have in their home to make a dish to bring to the party. Saving money, using leftovers and bringing out everyone’s creative side, this is a fun way to stay close. The most creative could even win a prize!

Saving money is super easy lovelies if you follow some simple tips and tricks! I would love to hear what you do to put a little bit of cash aside. I love a money saving tip, so please do let me know yours!
