Five Ways I Improved My Health In January 2025
00:00:00From booking my dream trip to sleeping in, I have found that the past month has brought with it a number of better life choices! Entering my fuck it I’m turning thirty era, I wanted to share to celebrate the little ways I have made my life better each month on the blog! Find out what made me happy this January right here!
Good Morning Lovelies,
Health is wealth as lots of people say! Over the past few weeks, I have been making small but positive steps to look after my health better. Whether it be from sleeping more or spritzing my favourite scents, I’ve really found joy in these little changes and so I thought it would be nice to share them with you lovelies!
Here are five things I did in January to make my life that little bit better…
Lying In More: I used to have to get up at 4am every day lovelies. Even if I hadn’t gone to bed until 3am, I would be up at 4am still. A very very unhealthy habit, which my body made me aware of when I suffered extreme burnout last year. Since then, I have been lying in more, getting on average around six and a half hours a night, which is a lot better for me. My body is very grateful for it too!
Reading More Books: Last year, I will be honest and say that I lost my way when it came to reading. I didn’t seem to be able to pick up a book for a while, as my health deteriorated. However, by the end of December, early January, I was back and ready to get down to my local library. I’ve really got back into the swing of things again lovelies.
Booking My Dream Trip: With everything that happened last year, I had to cancel a number of trips and holidays. My dreams of going away for my birthday in July seemed to be drifting away. Yet, after much debating, I finally booked it and am determined to be well enough to go. Dublin, here we come!
Buying New Clothes: As someone who is not body confident at all, I have struggled to buy new clothes recently. However, in January, I made myself pick up some new bits in the sales. I love my new joggers, oversized tees and sports socks combos now. It’s even made me feel better about myself and style.
Wearing My Best Perfumes Everyday: Speaking to my therapist recently, she asked me why did I keep items for best. She was so informative and encouraged me to use my favourite things because they can always be brought again if possible. This was something that I really struggled with when it came to my perfume collection, as I a, scared to use up bottles. However, realising that I can enjoy them again and again lightened my life a lot. Now, I wear whatever one takes my fancy on the day, giving me a little confidence boost.
What were your big or little feel good moments from the last month lovelies? I would love for you to share them all with us to help you celebrate them!
